What a wonderful little cottage in a really peaceful location. Home from home with everything you might need from kitchen utensils to picnic blankets to hairdryer, iron & clothes airer to lovely little touches around the cottage. A great little patio and garden. Great views across the fields to the sea. Watched a rabbit or 2 playing in the field and quite a few red kites overhead. The White Swan is a friendly pub with great food. The local chippy was great too and as for the local butcher, top marks for his lamb chops. Around the area there is lots to do. We saw dolphins at Newquay, red kites being fed at Nant y Arian and Devils Bridge waterfalls are worth a visit if you are fit enough! The cliff railway and constitution hill in Aberystwyth are also good. Highly recommended and would definitely visit again.

We booked this cottage over 12 months ago to visit the area around Aberystwyth. This cottage is positioned 12 miles south of the only big town in the area. The owner Diane was very helpful, but we did have an issue with the central heating, in that invariably wouldn't come on until 8.30pm, when we would normally think about retiring. It was great to bring along our german shepherd, who loves beaches & coastal walks (even though we wouldn't recommend Aberystwyth beach, as it was covered in seaweed, and most parts not dog-friendly. I believe this property will not allow dogs from September of this year!

The cottage was just what we wanted.. It had everything you would have at home and we were very comfortable. It was a very good location for trips out and it was a thrill to have breakfast in the garden with Red Kites soaring around. I would definitely recommend this cottage. - Anne

Heating timer needs sorting but to be fair owner did offer to sort, so sure it will be fine for future people, and it would be really useful to have a coat stand by front door.. Also a larger toaster.

Garden and decking area was unusable owing to grass that stood a foot high waiting for the first seasons cut.. Decking furniture still under winter wraps weighted with heavy stones, all three garden gates (including the entrance one) were hanging off the hinges and inoperable. After complaint to the owner, a gentleman arrived on the TUESDAY to trash the grass . Inside: The toilet seat wasn't fixed properly. 18 inch high Settee had sunk through use and was placed approx. nine feet from a TV which was fixed to the chimney breast at a height of 5 ft. causing stiff necks. A notice was taped to a kitchen unit advising the times the radiators would come on and if these times were altered there would be an added charge in accordance with our length of stay. As your records will show, we booked this cottage last year and were obviously very pleased with it, however due to lack of maintenance, care and attention there has been a big deterioration in the standards.

A really lovely cottage very cosy and home from home, could not fault it at all.. The beach was only a short walk from the cottage with costal walks as well, which the doggies enjoyed. Llanon is quiet and rural with a good Fish & Chip Shop, nice local Pub and Shop. We would definitely come back again to the cottage for another relaxed stay.

The location is perfect for the coastal rural feel with the advantage of having the main road and full amenities close by.. The Red Kites flying overhead were an added bonus!

Just come back from this beautiful little cottage, it's an absolute gem, never had such a relaxing holiday.. We took our two dogs, and it was brilliant to take them on lovely coastal walks and the beach. The cottage is home from home, and is furnished beautifully. The local people are very friendly, and will always greet you and have a chat. Great pub and Fish & Chip shop and a handy little shop for all your bits & bobs. Will we go back again oh yes definitely :-)
