Only the medieval heart remains along with a walled garden and 200 acre deer park. In the village, there are a variety of interesting shops, pubs and cafés, on a picturesque green surrounded by beautiful scenery. Staindrop is a great location for visitors interested in history, wanting to escape the hustle and bustle, and enjoy long walks in the countryside.
