Lovely cottage and setting, very well furnished.. Plenty to see and do, owners have fitted the cottage to a high standard lovely log fire in the kitchen and livingroom.

The description of the cottage and its location are very clear, accurate and helpful, and it is indeed off the beaten track, which was great.. So it very much met what I expected, together with no TV or internet, which was also what I expected and was aiming for. The cottage surrounds are in nature with views to the loch and beyond so you can literally step out of the front door and "start walking". This is an excellent base for holidaying in Sutherland and Caithness whether you want landscape, walking, flora and fauna, fishing, food, whisky, history, culture, inter alia. I squeezed in a day trip to Orkney too! The owner went out of his way to be helpful including giving ideas for places to go.
