Excellent self catering accommodation all on ground floor with free parking right outside our door. Very well equipped throughout, particularly the kitchen. Lovely adjacent grassed garden area with seating We were on our homeward journey to Devon from our road trip around Scotland, staying here 3 nights, and enjoyed a day at Chester Races and a day exploring Beverley, both only a short drive away. Do not come to the area without visiting Beverley Minster which although technically a church has the beauty of a fully blown medieval cathedral. Absolutely breathtaking and so loved and peaceful. Above all the warm welcome we were given by the proprietor Louise, was true Yorkshire hospitality at its best! Thank you for a really lovely stay

Oak Tree Cottage is great and I would highly recommend it to other visitors.. It is in a great location with good road access to lots of places including Beverley and Bridlington. The cottage is well equipped and comfortably furnished to a high standard. It is immaculately clean and very easy to keep tidy; it also has its own private parking space. The Bowser family are lovely and close at hand should their guests need anything.

We arrived at the cottage slightly earlier than planned, but we were met by the owner who gave us a very warm welcome.. There was a pint of milk in the fridge alongside 6 free range eggs. The accommodation was excellent. We found it warm and cosy, very clean and tidy and the facilities in the cottage were second to none. We would recommend this accommodation to anybody wanting to explore East Yorkshire. Super, well done the owners.

We were returning to East Yorkshire so that I could relive my student days at Hull University but wanted to stay somewhere peaceful and relaxing.. Couldn't have chosen a better place! The cottage was in a lovely location with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Pretty garden and good quality furnishings. Louise was a very welcoming host - happy to help us with questions we had about the area. We would also recommend the nearby pub - The New Inn for a very friendly and comfortable place to eat and socialise. Welcoming to children with good food at very reasonable prices. We really relaxed and recharged our batteries! Also the city tour of Hull with Paul Schofield was fascinating and well worth considering.
