This is a beautiful place to get away from it all and enjoy the ambiance of the setting which is tranquil and beautiful.. The hot tub is a real bonus and we spent far too many hours lounging on the decking soaking up the sun interspersed with long lingerings in the hot tub. The lodge itself is light and airy and really well presented with a homely comforting feeling. We had the best weekend there and we certainly had the weather for it. It is easy to walk into town, although didn't really find much to inspire us there except for an extremely well stocked Spa. But would love to go back - we all said we could live there! Thank you to the great hosts for being so helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

We were greeted with a massive smile and a friendly warm atmosphere.. We were clearly told where to go and instructions including how to use the hot tub, amenities etc. It's so peaceful and quite, it's refreshing and you really do feel like you've escaped the busy hectic life of reality.

This is the first time we had booked into a lodge.. So pleased, as it met more than our expectation. The facilities were brilliant, provided washing up liquid, washing powder and cleaning facilities. Even dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher machine. Marion (caretaker I think) was very informative on our arrival and gave us some information regarding the walks. We went out everyday despite the occasional rainy weather and did lots of walking. Really worth having the 2 bathrooms as we had x2 teenagers with us. The ducks were a joy for my son, who thoroughly enjoyed feeding them. The decor of the lodge was lovely and very clean. The hot tub a definite bonus and quite private and quiet. Lovely and quiet area if this is what you like. Worth if you can make it going to the national park in newport and around Martins Haven. The shops initially we read was far, but we passed different stores on our journey and brought food then ie 24 hour Tesco, Co op and Aldi. The local Fish and Chip shop in Narberth, was fresh and lovely, worth getting. Would definitely return and hope weather fairs better for us.

Fantastic lodge in beautiful, very private gardens.. Located in front of a pond with fabulous views. So peaceful and great to sit on very large balcony or in the hot tub watching the world go by. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet chilled out holiday which is local to the village and a short drive to some amazing beaches

The both two seater sofas were uncomfortable these need updating on looking through the visitors book we are not the only ones to have commented on this.. If they were updated then you would be able to relax more otherwise really enjoyed.

Oak lodge is absolutely wonderful (and actually better than the pictures).. Everything is luxurious, from the bed linen to the stylish ornaments, and includes everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is in a beautiful location, with gorgeous views of the ducks on the pond, yet also very private, with a lovely secluded spot for the hot tub (which we didn't realise from the pictures). It was exceptionally warm and cosy and we had a wonderfully relaxing stay with our two older children (so the second bathroom was a real bonus). We also enjoyed trips out to Tenby and Broad Haven, but were actually keen to get back to the lodge and the hot tub! Perfect lodge - highly recommend.

Our cottage didn't have WiFi which would have been very useful for booking and planning days out.. Apart from that the lodge was lovely.

Peaceful and tranquil and in a good location, close enough to towns and attractions, but far enough away to get away from it all. The Lodge was perfect. From booking in to leaving we were well looked after. Loved the hot tub. We were VERY lucky with the weather which certainly helped.
