Les and Lesley have thought of everything to make this cottage so homely yet very practical.. Excellent kitchen facilities and lounge area and the conservatory was a bonus to relax in. The scenery was breathtaking in the surrounding area of the cottage and yet a short a drive away were some fabulous beaches. The Owners even exceeded our expectations with the information folders that they provide, containing detailed descriptions of local walks, beaches, places to visit (including sat nav postcodes) which helped us to plan our week. Of course the highlight was the evening dip in the hot tub watching the sunset, highly recommend this cottage for a staycation.

What a fantastic cottage, on arrival we were so pleased with the appearance, everything was so clean.. The cottage felt like a home not a holiday let, I said time my husband I could easily move in here. We spent all our time either sat in the conservatory looking at the views or the hot tub in the evening. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could ever need from dishwasher to board games, the cottage is full of character which is down to the owners Les and Lesley, they live on site and are lovely people they leave you to enjoy your holiday but are there if ya need them and so very very welcoming, stopped to chat with them a few times. The hot tub was cleaned out and topped up during our stay by les. This is a perfect base for visiting this part of wales. We have already said we will 100% return. We had a perfect week away.

Our hosts could not have been more helpful and accommodating from the very first contact.. The property was beautifully clean and well appointed. The welcome basket a very nice touch, thank you. Very warm and cosy for when we returned from bracing walks along the coast. The hot tub, even in the rain, was fantastic and for us a lovely luxurious pleasure. The cottage is in a perfect location for the activities in the local area and maps and information are provided in plenty. An ideal spot for a long weekend visit such as ours. And best of all our dog was made very welcome as well. We are very much looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommended.

Oak Cottage was absolutely lovely.. We couldn’t fault anything about this place, just perfect. Lesley & Les (the owners) are there if you need them but leave you to get on with your holiday. The welcome basket that is there upon your arrival is better than you could imagine, so thoughtful. Lovely fluffy dressing gowns on the bed was a really nice touch, fluffy towels too. Well let me move on to the ‘hot tub’ cleaned and kept in tip top condition by Les, an absolute bonus to be able to enjoy and relax. The dogs enjoyed their time here as much as we did. I seriously cannot rate this little gem enough. We will definitely be back.

The cottage owners Les and Lesley have thought of everyone.. A really home from home holiday. From the welcoming site of tea and coffee milk sugar for our first holiday cuppa to the hairdryer with robes and soft towels and comfy beds in each bedroom. Oak cottage is very well equipped and was absolutely perfect a little gem infact. The peace and quiet wonderful, it felt like we'd actually had a break from our hectic lives. The many beaches are in easy reach from just a 15min drive away. Then home to the relaxing hot tub lazing watching the clouds go by and a nice bottle of wine provided in the welcome hamper by our wonderful hosts. Benji our border collie was very welcome too, spare dog bowls under the sink incase we had forgotten to pack his and he enjoyed a lovely walk down the country lanes. Les and Lesley are around with a wealth of local knowledge to hand. We would certainly recommend this cottage. Fantastic. Thankyou very much.

This is a lovely, comfortable cottage that is even better in person than it looks in the pictures, with very welcoming hosts.. As soon as you walk in the door you feel at home, and after a very long journey it was such a good feeling to walk in the door and have the welcome pack waiting so that you don't have to worry about food & drink on your arrival day. We had a great holiday there - the dogs loved it too - and were even able to recharge our hybrid car.

This cottage was amazing one of the best we have stayed in.. Fully equipped comfortable and cosy with plenty of choices of places to sit and enjoy the lovely views. The hosts were kind including a generous welcome basket, offering a warm greeting on our arrival. Also taking the time to share their knowledge of the local area which has lovely countryside and beaches close by. The hot tub was a welcome treat we used during the day also at night.

Oak Cottage was the perfect base to explore Cardigan Bay, which has several beautiful, quiet beaches, dotted along its coastline.. Our cottage was clean and cosy, warm and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the towels soft. Little touches like the welcome pack and the dressing gowns, were unexpected and well received. Our hosts were LOVELY and very knowledgable and helpful. Our first time renting a cottage in Wales, wont be our last, Thankyou.
