Number 5 is a wonderful stone barn conversion located in Biggin, Derbyshire. All rooms are on the ground floor, with two bedrooms: one king-size and one single, with a separate family bathroom. It has an open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen and dining area. Outside has an enclosed lawned garden and patio area with furniture. Off-road parking is available for two cars. Number 5 is the perfect choice for exploring the Peak District. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Area
Hartington is a village in Derbyshire, England, situated within the Peak District and lying on the River Dove. It is widely-known for its mining of ironstone, limestone and lead, as well as its cheese-making and has become increasingly popular with tourists in recent years. Notable for its historic buildings, and the nearby Neolithic stone circle dating back to the Bronze Age. Hartington offers a selection of pubs, restaurants and shops to explore.

Enjoyed our stay at number 5.. The cottage was spotless and well equipped. Close to Dovedale which is a lovely spot although extremely busy at weekends & school holidays. Wouldn’t recommend if don’t like to be disturbed by neighbors in adjoining cottages which didn’t bother us at all. Also on busy main road if want total peace and quiet. The cottage would be perfect in any weather ie cool inside on hot days but would also be cosy during colder spells. Would happily return.

The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped.. We needed a complete break from the hustle and bustle of a busy life, and this cottage and the location gave us just that.
