Reviews

Netherall Manor is a must for foreigners seeking the Incredible experience of English country living!!!
January 2019
This is a self contained annexe attached to a handsome stately home and surrounded with beautiful gardens. Our host an elegant , cultivated, old world country squire stumped us with his opening remarks" Your happiness is my my desire", and thereafter set out to charm and guide us throughout our 2 week stay. Mr. Clarke provided detailed information, tips, and highlights of surrounding towns and villages within the whole of Cambridgeshre and maximised our itinerary . Our accomodation was so comfortable that all we wanted to do was stay in , read, cook and sit by the fireplace (electric) warm as toasty. We sauntered around the small village of Soham and took short walks past the meandering ponds with ducks, seagulls and swans which was a delight during our stay. At Netherall we observed the rhythm of English country life with its rise and closure and learnt just how attached locals were to their land; their sense of history and heritage and above all, how active people were in their daily routine. Netherall is not just a holiday cottage. It provided for us an English experience which we did not have even after years of coming to UK and confining oureves merely to urban cities, especially London!
