The cottage was lovely.. The owner was great, when the water went off as a result of a burst water main in the village, she turned up with a huge bottled water for us and came round to make sure things were OK. She was around if we needed anything but never in our faces. The cottage was immaculate, comfortable and had a fantastically well stocked kitchen. One of the nicest cottages I've stayed in.

Mrs Mary Clancy is one of many providing this type of service.. Most are very good and some are very very good, but a few are positively exceptional and, in my opinion, Mrs Clancy must near the top of this list. Just a fantastic warm person with a heart of gold. The location is not foe all, but the peace, serenity and tranquillity suited our needs perfectly.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Mullagh Cottage.. The Cottage had everything you could possibly ask for and was extremely comfortable and cosy. This is a gem of a find if you want to discover County Clare and have a car; a perfect location. Thank you to the owners Mary and Tommy, and their daughter who were a delight and so friendly. The freshly baked scones and other provisions such as wine, on arrival was an extra nice and welcome touch, which was very much appreciated. :-) Irish Hospitality at its best! We would wholeheartedly recommend this property and really hope to come back some day! The Templar Family, West Sussex

The weather exceeded our expectations, some sun every day.. The cottage, though not in the centre of things, was cosy and very well equipped. The owners were exceptionally friendly and kind, the scones awaiting us on our arrival! The grass is so so green. We couldn’t believe how green until we saw it with our own eyes. A beautiful county with so many small cafes and other watering holes not to mention the scenery! Definitely well worth a visit.

We have no hesitation in recommending Mary & Tommy Clancy's cottage in Mullagh, Co.. Clare. We loved the cottage from the moment we arrived. It's perfect for a family of 4. Clean, comfortable, homely. The big kitchen is bright, airy & well equipped. Expect daily visits from Wishbone, the Clancy's collie dog, she loves belly rubs! The cottage is in a quiet countryside area but accessible to all of Co. Clare. We enjoyed the beautiful scones awaiting us on arrival, Mary & Tommy are lovely people. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Clare again.

Lovely, clean well maintained cottage.. One of the best we 've stayed in. Greeted on our arrival by the lovely owner Mary Clancy and her husband, very helpful, ,and the homemade scones and bottle of wine were very much appreciated after a long day travelling. Outstanding area all round with lovely beaches and stunning scenery. Tina, Phil & Eva (the dog!) Watson.

We had a fabulous time.. The owners Tommy and Mary are just amazing, lovely people, we had the warmest welcome upon arrival and knew immediately we were going to love their holiday home, so well presented, spacious and bright and everything you could wish for in a holiday home, extremely well equipped. Home made scones, butter and jam put out for us, along with milk, tea and coffee, plus a bottle of wine! So very kind and thoughtful as we had not stopped to shop on the way! Big supermarket in nearby Milltown Malbay very handy, also excellent fairly local shop/post office and pub in Quilty, approx. 10 min. drive away. This holiday home, which we thoroughly recommend, offers peace and quiet in a beautiful rural setting, with a large very well maintained garden, plus sitting out patio area and spacious parking on the driveway. We took our Golden Retriever with us and thoroughly enjoyed the local walks, also Tommy was kind enough to offer the use of one of his fields to walk her.

The cottage is very rural and a car is required to access anywhere but we knew this when we booked so it was not a problem.. Mary and Tommy who own the cottage have worked hard to make the cottage a truly home from home experience. On arrival we were treated to delicious scones made by Mary's daughter as well as other treats. We found the location an ideal spot for exploring the area and had a lovely holiday.

We were delighted in the friendly and helpful personality of the owner.. The cottage had everything one would need for a self-catering break, and if you have any specific requirements I'm sure the owners would be able to advise. The locality is quite remote, with farms and farmland in all directions, however there is a vast network of rural and regional roads to all the nearby attractions. We had a great week and long to return.

The cottage was wonderful, and Mary, our host, was lovely.. She even took us one night to a local pub with local music. We used the cottage as a base to see sights in neighboring counties. We would highly recommend Mullagh Cottage to anyone.
