Had a lovely couple of nights at Mountain View. Situated in beautiful surroundings with lots of walks and wildlife. The area around the pod is very spacious and private. The hot-tub was fantastic to sit in every night, even in the rain! The actual pod itself was well thought out and did not feel cramped at all, there seemed to be plenty of space for the two of us. It is also very Covid secure with hand sanitiser on the wall of the entrance and we didn't see anyone whilst we were there (only a brief chat with one of the site workers who was working on the new hobbit houses who was very friendly and informative on the area) The only minor improvements that come to mind would be some basic instructions on the electrics within the property eg. hob, heater, exterior lights. However, this would not stop us from visiting again and we look forward to returning for a longer period in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We’ve just stayed at Mountain View from Friday to Friday and can’t wait to book again. It was incredibly peaceful, sitting in the hot tub with the breathtaking view of The Elan Valley. The pod itself was a lot more roomy than we thought. The area is also very nice, plenty to do for the week, the Elan Valley has beautiful views from walking and driving around the 8 dams / reservoirs. Few nice places to eat and go for a drink. The shops in the village have everything you need to last for the week including wood for the fire pit. Cabin was well equipped. Recommend taking extra towels for hot tub so you don’t have to use shower towels! Incredible experience, will be returning.

My partner and I stayed in this pod in July 2018, we had a fantastic week staying here so much so that we are booked in again for this year! The facilities are great and the pod was spotlessly clean. We loved that the pod had it's own enclosed garden so our dog was able to potter about and enjoy her surroundings as much as we did. The management team are also fantastic/attentive and really made our stay special. Highly recommend to anyone!

Absolutely perfect! Location was stunning for views and very peaceful. It was also within good reach of the town itself which had plenty of facilities such as shops, tea rooms and pubs. The accommodation was clean and had everything you needed. Will definitely be returning!

Overall the holiday was perfect and I would definitely recommend it.. However the one thing I would suggest is a oven instead of a dishwasher. To add to this, we had a slight issue when we found out we were in the wrong pod, yet we were not told any information prior to our arrival which pod was ours. When we arrived there was only one pod with the light on outside, so therefore we assumed it was ours. Perhaps put a welcome sign on each pod so people will know which pod is theirs, although after this was resolved there were no other issues. The place was spotless upon our arrival and exceeded our expectations, super cosy and comfortable and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Lovely in the winter and I can imagine even better in the summer. Perfect for a weekend break and a great selection of pubs near by with amazing food. The Elan Valley was around 10-15 mins away and a great place for a walk with spectacular views.

I had high hopes for this place but was left very disappointed. Very overpriced for what it is, pods are quite claustrophobic. No privacy in the hot tub you can see everyone and they can see you. On the plus side they were clean. There's similar places in town which were much better value for money

we stayed in the pod 2nd to 5th November.. such a lovely pod with amazing views. the hot tub was outstanding favourite part of the holiday was in it most of the weekend. lovely little town only 2 miles away.. we will most defiantly be returning next year thanks for an amazing holiday

We stayed in mountain view 2nd Nov to 5th Nov was a lovely relaxing break.. the hot tub was our favourite part of the holiday it was outstanding . only issue we had was the lights didnt work we rang jake on Sat morning and he sent someone out straight away.. we thought the lights were fixed but they wernt.. this led to me banging my toe getting into the hot tub as it is so dark at night but it didn't stop us from enjoying the holiday we will defo be returning next year

Fantastic place to relax, the hut was perfect had all we needed including a hot tub just right for relaxing after a day of walking, great dog friendly place nice secure gardens and fabulous views across the valley great for watching the Plentiful red kites.. Found two nice pubs dog friendly and great food The Triangle and Egale Inn down in Rhayader. Will definitely be going back..

Mountain View fitted all of the boxes for us on this holiday,the Hot tub experience was amazing especially as you could use it as and when you wanted to,the facilities in the pod were very good which allowed for normal home accommodation throughout the week.. The garden area was fantastic as secured which allowed the dog to have a full run with no fear of escaping,(she loved it!)Where the pod is situated the scenery all around could be viewed not only the farm but further to the mid wales hills and the Elan Valley (Excellent). A very enjoyable week with many visitor attractions in the area,the red kite population added extra value,as they were fling around all the time.

The Pod’s are located on a farm with amazing views over the mountians , you can’t help but feel relaxed ! With only the bleeting sheep for back ground noise it really is beautiful spot and prime location for exploring this gorgeous part of Wales ! The Pod was clean and very comfortable with its own Hot Tub which added a touch of luxury and a real bonus ! Each Pod has a secure garden, and accepts two well behaved dogs which was great for us as it’s not always easy to find places that take two dogs ! The only down side for us was no oven , we did however have a Hob , microwave and BBQ and we worked around not having one especially as the weather was good , but I think when the Pods are let out at colder times of the year it could be missed more ! Must mention that the nearest town Rhayader has some great shops and places to eat and we found everyone we met warm and very friendly ! Would we recommend Mountain View ? Most definitely!

This was the ideal location for visiting all of Mid Wales not to far to go out each day.. Look for the mountain roads 1 to the Devil's Falls 2 to Tregarron via Beaulah both rides are fantastic.

Everything about this holiday was perfect.. The 'pod' was extremely comfortable although the weather was so good that we were able to eat all our meals outside overlooking some fantastic scenery. We made very good use of the hot tub which added a real touch of luxury! A really relaxed atmosphere with very few rules and regulations although the very friendly proprietors and staff were always available if needed.

This holiday was amazing .. The pod was much better than we expected very well equiped with everything that we needed , Luke Gemma and Ben were more than helpful you only had to ask and they were there The area was very beautiful The Elan valley was amazing Lakes, Wooded mountains and Dams all completely un commercialised and peaceful , The roads are good with little traffic , the little towns are lovely Builith Wells in particular with its tree lined walk next to the river and shopping down the Main Street with many little shops that takes you back years ,Llandidrod Wells lovely place with a large Tesco and Aldi stores, Llanidroes lovely little town with many shops and great fish and chips ,Just 5 miles to the fantastic forrest ,lakes and a dam well worth a visit

Views are stunning,but upon arrival for wife’s 75th birthday treat we were presented with a dripping wet sofa(previously left out in the Welsh rain for Pod maintenance),the shower was cool /cold until last day and the hot tub was cool/cold after the first day.. We had a memorable stay but for all the wrong reasons.. Would we return?? ******** Owner response: ******** Apologies for the raised issues. I was not directly made aware of the issues until the end of the guests holiday. A staff member on the park was informed but did not pass the information on to myself. For any property issues, please directly contact the owner and these issues will be addressed.
