Absolute peace of heaven! The lodge is really well equipped with everything you could need and the hosts go above and beyond with lots of lovely finishing touches. Ideal area in that you are remote enough to feel away from the hustle and bustle but 10 minutes drive and you’re in Inverness.

Can’t fault Moorhen Lodge, a great place to stay! ! Helen and David were perfect hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful and kind, ensuring we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The location is perfect!! Easy access to the main roads to get about to different places but also private and quite to enjoy the forest and leave the car behind to do local walks to Ord Hill, Kilmuir and North Kessock. We can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back.

Wonderful, quiet, cosy and in a fantastic area to explore the Black Isle and beyond.. The hot tub is a wonderful bonus and 'having a long relaxing soak' while listening to and watching the wildlife at the end of a day exploring is a must and recommend it. Great place to stay, and will certainly be back next year
