There is a kitchen and a living room/diner with a woodburning stove. Outside there is a rear enclosed garden overlooking the river with seating. Moorhen Cottage is a wonderful base for an escape to Shropshire. As this is an old victorian property the staircase does become more narrow and tricky, this may make the property not suitable for those with unsure footing or mobility issues. Please note: This property is in an area prone to flooding.

Lying in the county of Shropshire not far from the Welsh border is the bustling town of Ludlow, resting alongside the River Teme. The town is home to more than 500 listed buildings as well as Ludlow Castle dating back to 1085. Visit the many cafés and restaurants here, as well as pubs too, and delight in browsing the open-air market that takes place ever Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, ranging from local food produce to arts and crafts.
