Monte da Calma

Beautiful large house located in Paderne near Albufeira, quiet, a few roosters but this is normal in a rural environment which gives charm to this house. Very pleasant swimming pool, very good water from morning to evening. Bakery 5 minutes by car with a lot of choice of pastries made in Portugal. Some drawbacks such as the lack of air conditioning, the table tennis balls a little damaged and the pool table really needs changing because it has lived well.

Nice and damp house, the deckchairs in poor condition and dirty. The washing machine was broken throughout our stay. The toaster didn't work. The barbecue was dirty. I think we left the house cleaner than it was when we arrived.

We enjoyed Monte da Calma with our three teenagers. The house is decorated in a Portuguese style and feels homely. It is quiet, but everywhere is easy and quick to get to by car. You can enjoy lovely walks in the area. The swimming pool is fantastic, as is the pool table and table tennis table. Very friendly owners. They do not speak English but with translate you can get by just fine and there is an English speaking contact. Also very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful and especially clean house in authentic Portuguese style, is remote, so own transport is necessary.

Perfect house for groups with everything needed for a great holiday. Very quiet area and perfect for relaxing. Very clean house. The only downside will be the quality of refrigerators. Both work, however they do not work 100%, not refreshing too much food and drink, however it is something quite endurable and does not take quality from the house. ... was very helpful, assisting us in all issues. We recommend it and we want to come back.
