Area Droitwich Spa is a historic town with well-maintained Green Flag parks and an open air lido. Additionally, the town is the set at the heat of England, with great links to Birmingham, Worcester and Straford-Upon-Avon.

I should have written this review several years ago when we stayed here, but regrettably never got round to it. Having just got back from probably about our 15th holiday cottage/barn conversion, it is so apparent how Monarch’s Barn stands out in a class of its own. Apart from the well designed and beautifully furnished accommodation which Sally, the owner, has good reason to take pride in, there is nothing more you could wish for. The loveliest touch was all the thought that had gone into the welcome pack. Local cider, local beer, homemade dog biscuits and a lovely hand painted stone inscribed with the name of the property. I believe mum and mum in law had a hand in the welcome pack. Everything was in good order and comfortable. I remember saying I could actually live there permanently. This property is so well deserving of its 5*

Beautiful, comfortable property. Incredibly well kitted out. But it is the warm welcome from Sally the owner that really sets this place apart- so kind and generous. Our children adored the 10 acres of wildflower meadows and woods to explore and the fire pit was a real added bonus. Thank you.
