Great location, you can get out and about walking into the forest and down to the beach without taking the car.. Parking is tight on the drive, unless you have a small car I wouldn’t try it! The garden is super, so much space and nice to lie down and watch the *massive* sky and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is really well equipped, we were cooking for 7 and there lots of serving dishes and big trays etc. Dining room/conservatory was my favourite room, spacious, big table, played lots of games on there. 3 shower rooms, luxury. Can’t wait to go back.

A couple of plumbing problems that the owner responded to immediately and Covid caused a number of closures and restrictions in the area.. Otherwise we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and could not fault the cottage which fully suited our requirements. Our only complaint was the difficulty in contacting your staff prior to our holiday and arranging for our booking to be brought forward by one week. We also found your endless bombardment with general advertising e-mails annoying - we only wanted e-mails about our specific booking! We now have a credit balance of £415 on our account, and as our booking has been satisfactorily completed, we request that this sum is refunded directly to our credit card during the next few days. Lovely house.. Loads of room inside and outside. Well equipped, we wanted for nothing. The owners are lovely people and very helpfull. House is situated ideally for the beautiful beach just 5 mins drive away, also a lively walk through the woods to the beach. Thank you David and Fiona.

We are a family of 10, 3 generations and all enjoyed our holiday.. The house was large and warm and suited our needs, we especially liked the conservatory with the large dining table to hold all of us for meals. We also enjoyed the large gardens, ideal for ball games. The only difficulty we had was with the narrow drive.

The house was beautiful with plenty of room for the whole party to relax.. We had 4 children with us from 6yr old down to 1yr old and the huge garden was perfect for them to run and burn off their excess energy. The weather was unfortunate but there were plenty of rainy day games available. Overall a fantastic booking I would use again for a larger group.

Great base for coastal walks, cycling and sandman triathlon and very close to Newborough nature reserve offering great walks including llandwyn island. Great house for family holidays and ideal for our family of 8. House spacious and well equipped. We loved the quizzes that were provided and the information on the coastal walks was really helpful. A highlight of the week was seeing the Dolphins at Point Linas. A great relaxing holiday.

Wonderful, pet-friendly accommodation suitable for families or large groups of friends! There was plenty of room for us - four adults, two children and a dog. Location is perfect - the house is just a five minute drive away from Newborough Beach. Lots of family-frendly attractions nearby, such as Angelsey Sea Zoo and Pili Palas Nature World. Plas Newydd House and Garden, which is a beautiful national trust site with a woodland and treehouse, is also worth a visit and located around 20 minutes away from Minffordd. The house has a lovely lawned garden at the back, suitable for children and pets to play in. Rooms are nice and spacious and plenty of space for families to dine together in the evenings. David the owner gave us a nice welcome upon arrival. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Being an extended family of 10 spanning three generations this holiday home was excellent and was as good as advertised.. We were comfortable although one bed in the attic was a tad lumpy for an adult. I did mention to David that blackout blinds would help in the bedrooms as at this time of year it's daylight for approximately 18 hours and the children aren't always aware that they don't need to get up with the birds when on holiday!!! Except for these two points it was a great destination and would not hesitate recommending to my friends.

Minffordd is a beautiful family house with plenty of room for a large group.. The children loved the garden and all the hiding places in the house to play hide and seek! The owners of the house Dave and Fiona are very friendly and helpful. We used the BBQ facilities and we were blessed with fantastic weather for an extra special weekend.

A very warm welcome from the owner when we arrived, who was eager to help us settle in. As a three generational family there was plenty of room, very well equipped with constant hot water and all the facilities we needed. The house is ideally situated to explore Anglesey and North West Wales. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house, excellent value and quiet location.

As an extended family of nine we chose this lovely big house for a stay in Anglesey and were not disappointed.. It had everything we needed and more; from two fridges and a large cooker through to large dining table, three shower rooms and a delightful garden. Plenty of kitchen equipment meant that even the children were able to do a bit of cooking which they all loved. The house was big enough to house all nine of us with plenty of room to play, watch TV or read and to invite family and friends for meals. A forest car park is just minutes down the road where we enjoyed a ten mile walk through forest, sand dunes and beaches to the beautiful Llandwyn Island, voted the favourite activity of the holiday. David was the perfect host and we look forward to staying at Minfordd in the future.

Very accomodating and friendly owner.. Lovely big house, ideal for families. Well equipped and very comfortable beds. Perfectly situated for 20 minute walk to beach. Landlord provides parking ticket for beach car park. Very safe enclosed garden for pets. Sheep in adjoining field. Only negative is beware of the very narrow drive into the property car parking spaces, tricky even with a small car . Easily scratch the car on wall and house.

Stayed here for two weeks in October lovely warm house with loads of space we went with family and we had plenty of room. The top floor twin rooms are wonderful for children gives them their own space to have time out. Everything is catered for in Kitchen and through the house it is a really warm house. The garden is brilliant for the children and our dog loved it. Beach is near and lovely walks in forest would definately recommend this property, we have already booked for next year. David the owner is lovely and nothing is too much trouble for him.

We were a medium-sized extended family group not knowing what to expect, but on arrival were pleasantly surprised with what was on offer as the price had been so reasonable. The large detached house has been modernised to a high standard with double glazing throughout among other improvements, and I gather more are in the pipeline. In particular there are multiple large tables for dining, study, sewing or whatever - if you want to host the Wannsee Conference while on holiday, this is your spot! Double attic bedrooms are ideal for teenagers wanting to disappear into a space of their own. Very large and really quite charming private lawned garden at the back - is camping allowed if needed? - we wondered, but in the event didn't need to so didn't ask. The village itself has nothing exceptional to recommend it but is well-placed for the island in general and the beach in particular thus is quiet, safe and convenient. There is a dedicated road leading to the main beach car park which will suit the families, but don't feel obliged to get in your car along with all the others - instead, get yourself an OS walking map then head down into the village and out via the fields and woods. It is easy to spend several hours exploring the long stretches of beach from Malltreath Sands to Abermenai Point, as well as wending slowly round LLanddwyn Island, which might need to be paddled across to at high tide. Thanks again to David and Fiona for their hospitality, a very enjoyable week's holiday.

Wanted a convenient place on Anglesey for a family of 9 (including two children under 10) for a week. Very comfortable and well appointed accommodation with plenty of space to spread out - two TVs meant no arguments over what to watch in the evenings! Safe and secure garden with plenty of room for the kids to play and adults to relax. Great location to explore Anglesey, and not far from the wonderful beach. The owners (Dave and Fiona) were friendly and helpful and happy to suggest places to visit and eat out. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Happy to recommend to anyone.
