Lovely quiet retreat away from it all that was spotlessly clean.. Lots of space and the hot tube added an extra touch of luxury. Friendly and easy-going owners who made us very welcome. Our only small gripes were that the WiFi was slow and intermittent at times and our bed was firmer than we would have liked, but these didn’t spoil our stay. I would recommend Mill Cottage to anyone in search of a quiet break.

Because of the open plan staircase it was quite noisy with creaking timbers etc.. .. Which is fine if everyone wakes and goes to bed at same time but we had a baby and it had a few restless nights because of this.

This was a last minute break , what a beautiful find .. The cottage was delightful As well as the owners . They were so friendly , the balance was perfect , if you needed them They were there if not they stayed out of your personal space . The hot tub was amazing , the games room Was a very popular evening event , we we’re the only family ever in there ( there was only 2 families but it felt like your own . . We really didn’t wasn’t to leave .

Lovely warm cottage in beautiful peaceful location (if you don’t mind cockerels).. The only little niggles a) the Broadband was very flakey so we couldn’t really use it as the signal kept being lost b) there was an ironing board but no iron. c) no usual info folder with local walks, places to eat, appliance info etc. But there were plenty of leaflets and we live locally anyway. The nearest pub, Vale of Aeron a few miles away served lovely food. We had a wonderful break though.

From arrival the host Andy was very welcoming and knowledgeable about this beautiful area.. The cottage welcomed us with a huge real Xmas tree and tasteful decorations for Xmas, the fairy lights made the whole place magical. Mill cottage was spacious for four adults and four little dogs with and enclosed garden at the rear and extensive access to local walks. The place is a little off the beaten track, but this was what we wanted. There nearest shops ect are in the village of Aberaeron a 10 minute drive away. This is a really pretty town with harbour and access to the beach where we could walk the dogs as it was winter time. The cottage has WiFi...if you needed it... It had a TV and radio... The cottage is full of charm and spotlessly clean. The property has three bedrooms, one en suite double, another double and bunk beds in the third. The large kitchen diner is very comfy, if I was to make a suggestion... The integrated fridge was small and struggled to cope with the Xmas demands of food... Although there was a communal freezer in the games room/area.... This kitchen would easily accoomodate a large free standing fridge freezer and that would have been a huge bonus.... But really wasn't a huge issue as we adapted with freezer bags and used the outside to store wine/beer etc... Nature chilled them for us. We would very much recommend mill cottage and we look forward to a return very soon. We had a relaxing wonderful Xmas and so did the our dogs.

The cottage is lovely.. The farm is a little "rough around the edges". But its a great base for exploring the local area. Itd a real shame that yiu have to drive past the "dumping ground" on the lanes into the cottages as it does give a worrying feeling on approach to your holiday. That said Jamie and Kate the couple who manage the business from site are absolutely lovely! They were so kind to us and our children and we were truly humbled by their laid back attitude and style of business. Our children loved their stay and it was just what we wanted. A break away from holiday parks and shops etc. Our aim was to relax in the surrounding nature and beaches and that's exactly what we got so we enjoyed our stay. Good luck with any future expansion plans you have.

The cottage had everything you could want for a lovely relaxing stay.. It was very warm and cosy. The owners son and family lived next door and were very friendly, we had total privacy but they made us feel at home. Lovely walks and places to visit. would love to go again when the weather was drier. The only down side was the approach. Did not mind the country tracks, that made the experience away from civalisation. But the 'recycling yard' at first made us worry what we were going to find at the end of the farm track. Loved the area will visit again..

The cottage is lovely.. The location stunning. The owners are great - very helpful when we had any questions but never intruded despite living next door. Perfect hosts! The cottage would benefit from a coat stand and an airer and laundry basket for damp clothes unsuitable for tumble drying but was otherwise very well facilitated. We felt cosy and comfortable during our February stay despite gales and frosts and would definitely consider staying again. We made some great memories with the kids. They loved the play area and the games room. Thanks!

The Cottage was really nice, very clean, excellent for our two young children with the outdoor play area and an enclosed garden at the rear.. Would highly recommend this property. A couple of things that I didn't get chance to inform the owners of which are not major. The bath plugs didn't work There are no Scissors in the Kitchen and the tin opener doesn't work Its a gas hob and there is no gas in the lighter to light it with.

The whole family really enjoyed our week long stay at Mill Cottage, one of the Lanlas Farm holiday cottages in Ciliau Aeron, near Aberaeron, Wales. We were lucky enough to also view the main Farm house which is fantastic. and would recommend this as a holiday to anyone who would like to experience a quiet country holiday with all the modern facilities close to hand. The young couple who run the farm have done a great job setting up the rentable options and they offered us everything we needed during our stay. I loved the fresh vegetables and eggs which are sold onsite via a honesty box. Although set up amongst the hill top farm this holiday setting is only minutes drive to Ciliau Aeron, and approx. 8 minutes to Aberaeron which has all the required shops and amenities to hand. Newquay and Aberystwyth are also close enough to travel to. Ideal setting for families, couples, cyclists, hikers etc.

Well equipped cottage. Secure garden for dogs and toddler. Great play area. Barn with games for teens. We would have liked to be in walking distance of a pub with food but enjoyed our stay anyway.
