Migone de Sampolo

Accommodation was essentially as advertised and described, but with signs of obvious wear and tear, internet worked well, but hardly any cell reception. Isolated location outside of the summer holiday season, the hamlet is then desolate. Relatively long distances to the coast and the inner mountains, hiking trails in the surrounding area only very limited use (as of summer 2023). Enough space for 4 people with a dog. Conclusion: Recommended as a stopover and shorter stay in the summer.

Very nice accommodation, but only located between a few houses.

Spacious apartment with decent facilities. Extremely nice and helpful landlord. Located right between the sea and the mountains, so you can do whatever you want. Nearest shops: Ghisoni (epicerie) 15 min, Ghisonacchia (supermarket) 35 min. Sampolo itself is a small hamlet with a few houses. You can fish in the lake at Sampolo directly below, and there are very nice bathing spots in Fiumorbo above. We would definitely like to come back!

Very warm welcome when we arrived. The rental fully in line with what was noted. We appreciated the calm, the animals (cows-pigs), which we could cross near the rental, in freedom. The road that brings us to this small hamlet (of Ghisonaccia) is magnificent. Important for teenagers, good internet connection.
