Just one block away is Mid Beach, so you're only a short stroll from lazing in the sand and splashing in the waves. Also within walking distance? A bevvy of eateries, including gourmet restaurants, lively bars and local joints that offer everything from Mediterranean fare to Cuban cuisine. When you're not exploring this exciting area – which is sandwiched between low-key North Beach and lively South Beach, giving you the best of both worlds – you can relax back at home. The air conditioning is a welcome relief after a day in the sun, and the relaxed, bohemian-inspired decor only adds to the chilled-out vibe. And with Netflix on the TV, cosy sofas and a sleek kitchen for whipping up snacks, a quiet night at home doesn't sound too shabby.
