We stayed here for xmas and our wedding anniversary. We had a little trouble finding the place as the directions aren't very clear, unless you know the roads. Search google for mid wales views and you will get better directions. Upon arrival we found some little extras which was lovely, some welsh wafers, mince pies, christmas card, and even a real Christmas tree with lights to name just a few. The cabin was warm and very clean, the hot tub was up to temperature and just what was needed after the long drive. Over all we had a lovely stay, other than a few niggles. Positives: The bed was very comfy, the cabin is spacious for its size, well equipped with the basics, kitchen equipment etc. Comfy recliner sofa. The best bit over all was the hot tub, even in the rain. Negatives: We couldn't get on the wifi the entire time we were here, no matter how much we tried. Shower cubicle very small, could have been a little larger. Photos need updating, they do not show the interior or exterior of the cabin and views as it is now. Very misleading. Pictures show a stunning view from the hot tub, when infact there is now a shepherd's hut smack bang in the middle, the whole reason we booked this particular cabin was for the views shown in the pictures. Pictures also show a washing machine ?when infact there is a dishwasher, wich is utterly pointless when there isnt enough crockery to utilize it. You have to watch the tv in a sideways position as the sofa is too large to move round to face the tv, would be better as a 2 seater so you can move it to face the tv. The information booklet also needs updating, as the taxi number inside it is knowlonger trading, agan the picture does not show the area as it is now.

Picturesque setting in the welsh hills. Cosy and homely cabin, with a hot tub to die for. Short drive from many lakes and mountain walks, perfect place to clear the head with the fresh air and peace from hustle and bustle. Would definitely return.

Fabulous little break for new year.. The pod was just perfect, cosy, clean and well equipped. The hot tub was an added bonus which we thoroughly enjoyed being able to relax in after our long walks. Our two dogs loved the freedom of the enclosed garden and the local country walks also :) We will be booking again for next year

Absolutely loved our weekend break.. It was brilliant that as we arrived the cabin was all nice and warm and the hot tub was already on for our arrival. WiFi has its moments but you are in the middle of no where. Rhayader was a lovely little village we took a liking to the little chocolate shop chobblebox, the cakes were amazing. We hadn’t planned anything to do but we found plenty. The red kite feeding was different and also had an intense cardio session around devils bridge and those steps! Really lovely place and I have recommended this place to friends. Very cosy and private perfect birthday treat.

Just checked out of Meadow View and did not want to leave.. Couldn't believe how warm and cosy the place was, especially in November! The views from the lodge are sublime and is in a very good location for exploring. My family loved it. Our toddler loved being able to explore the enclosed garden. Will definitely be returning.

This break away exceeded our expectations, it was just beautiful.. Couple of pointers to note though; the doorway would benefit from a fly screen, due to the location on a farm they were to be expected but we were over run by them! The sofa bed used as a sofa was extremely uncomfortable too, there had clearly been issues with it as a large rip was photographed by a staff member. These are however minor issues and the little extras were highly appreciated. We hope to return in the future

We had a brilliant time staying in Meadow view, very well equipped, the enclosed garden was handy for our 2 dogs to play in whilst we enjoyed the view in the Hot tub and the handyman on site was also very helpful during our stay.. Looking forward to returning again soon. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay and took our 2 dogs that were able to be run around the enclosed garden. The Pod was in excellent condition, the Hot Tub was a massive plus and so relaxing. There was lots to explore in and around the area. The locals was very nice and helpful.

We had a fantastic time here, the cabin is beautiful and very comfortable, the views were spectacular.. They are building more cabins behind this lodge which meant there were a few work men around but that didn’t disturb our stay at all. Perfect little getaway for a couple and a dog!

Brilliant weekend away and would highly recommend to anyone.. It snowed a lot whilst staying here but the cosy lodge and hot tub made it the best place to be whilst being snowed in. Lovely views and surroundings and the building work mentioned in another post did not bother us as it was behind our lodge far enough away not to disrupt our stay. Definitely would come back again and we have even decided to stay an extra night as we do not want to go home!

Lovely little cabin in rural Wales.. What the pictures don’t show is that they are currently developing the site and building several other lodges, so the view is slightly ruined by diggers and the peace and quiet disrupted from 8am during the week by the men and machinery. Also means that you can’t really use the hot tub during the daytime as it overlooks the building site (and the builders)! The hot water was also hit and miss. Despite this though it really is a lovely cabin in a beautiful spot. The sister cabin (Valley View) is slightly further away from the building work and the hot tub less in view so I would book that one rather than Meadow View.

Beautiful location and perfect views of the countryside.. Cosy cabin with all the required facilities but does lack hanging space and an area for muddy boots and drying wet walking clothes.
