A real hidden gem in beautiful North Wales.. The property was as described and had everything you could want. The log burning fire was a bonus on a chilly evening. As well as listed in the description was an iron and ironing board, hair dryer and loads of wardrobe and drawer space . The scenes from the small patio area were stunning. The patio had a round wooden table , bench and built in bbq. The owners Dave and Julie were really friendly, helpful and didn’t intrude. A highly recommended property that we will definitely be returning to.

Location was excellent, off the beaten track so very peaceful, but close enough to local amenities to not need to bring everything.. Pictures of the property were very accurate so no surprises. Loads of walks right from your doorstep, great for the dog. Cottage was spotless and well appointed, with a friendly welcome. Already booked our next stay.

I cannot even begin to describe how fantastic Meadow View was! The cottage is absolutely immaculate and has everything you could possibly think of. We had a delightful welcome basket from the owners on arrival. The owners are really lovely and made us feel very welcome. The cottage has fantastic views and it is so peaceful! Near lots of great walking routes (which our Springer thoroughly enjoyed) We loved it so much we’ve already re booked!

This is our 3rd visit to Alyn View within 9 months which speaks multitudes.. Well equipped and extremely comfortable accommodation in a peaceful and idyllic location. The owners Julie and David really are superb, ensuring nothing is too much trouble. A big thank you from us both.

We really enjoyed spending a week at Meadow View.. It was a great place to get away from it all in the quiet hills of North Wales. It was so peaceful and had great walks straight from the cottage. Our dog loved the place too and was happy to have other dogs to play with. Namely Julie and David's three dogs! There was everything you needed in the cottage including wifi and a tv in each room. Mold was just a short drive away for anything that you need to get and there were a few pubs within walking distance or a few minutes drive. The hosts were very welcoming and were happy to give advice about the local area plus they provided a basket of goodies should you arrive without supplies. The fresh flowers were also a nice touch. There was a private seating area outside the cottage which was a nice place to spend a pleasant evening watching the sun setting and listening to the odd owl or two.

We have stayed in both Meadow View and the adjoining Alyn View cottages. Both cottages are immaculate and extremely comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, as are their dogs. They are always happy to help and provide a wonderful welcome basket too. The cottages are in a quiet little spot, but have easy access to the main road. Plenty of local pubs and cafes within easy reach. Easy access onto the local footpaths too. There is no mobile signal in the cottages, but the WiFi is good, so you can still contact the people you want to! All in all, a pretty perfect set of cottages.

This was a lovely cottage coupled with very friendly and helpful owners.. They left a good welcome pack which meant we did not have to go shopping immediately. Tea, coffee, bread, milk, butter, jam, biscuits and some little welsh scones. Plus a vase of welcoming flowers. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Plenty of information in the cottage on places to visit during our stay was provided. There is lots to do in and around the area and we easily filled 2 weeks. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage as a lovely place to stay.

Lovely, lovely owners of the property.. Location was brilliant for walks. Only negative was we couldn't get the hand of the underfloor heating. Had it turned to 0 in my sons bedroom but was still very hot at night so had to leave the window open to sleep. Other than that it was lovely.

We had a warm welcome, but we're surprised to find that the scenic views in the pictures were replaced with a building site.. It seems a new house is being built practically on top of the cottage we were staying. This meant the kids couldn't really play outside since it wasn't safe We also had a terrible problem with flies. No matter what we did the house was always filled with flies. This really bothered our young children and made the nights unpleasant. I've never had a problem with sykes cottages before, but this has really made me doubt if I can trust what's being shown.

This beautiful cottage had everything we needed for a lovely holiday.. The added touch of a 'Welcome Basket' containing bread, jam tea, coffee, milk, butter and other goodies was really useful. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Couldn't ask for more. Hope to visit again.

We enjoyed our week here very much.. Julie & David where lovely owners who where there to help if needed but not intrude. When we arrived there was a welcome basket with tea, coffee, sugar, bread, jam, marmalade, packet of Welsh cakes, also milk and Welsh butter in the fridge. We came home on the Friday completely relaxed. We would recommend others to book this cottage. the log burner was lovely addition to the underfloor heating. Hope to return next year.
