Lovely rural place to stay.. Great location with easy access to local and major roads. Accommodation excellent throughout and our dog enjoyed the gardens. Only let down was needed a baking tray and a set of oven gloves (brought our own and left them for others to use). No WI-FI which is a given these days and CD player not working or some TV channels. Explored local area throughout and visited Waterford and Wexford. Had a throughly enjoyable family holiday and thank you Mrs Barry for our Apple Pie on arrival.

It a shame that dogs will not allowed in future bookings

We loved this cottage, really spacious and the patio doors afforded close up bird feeding opportunities.. Very quiet location. Nellie thoughtful because she gives her visitors a cake or homemade pie! Warm and cosy with good internet signal and TV channel choice. Property and garden very well kept. Local beach behind fethard village has recent new concrete slipway and water a tap for hosing off sandy feet.! Hook lighthouse tour fabulous, and u must eat at templars inn.Downsides house sn't named on gate, and by the time a holidaymaker gets from ferry at Dublin, light is fading. House is 300 yards on left not right. Cooker knobs so worn can't tell what temp it is cooking and kitchen needs at least one sharp food preparing knife please. Otherwise everything else thought of. Oh, and be aware there is no dustbin service . £7 charge by local londis shop in village....(public street bins are rare!)

Myself and my partner have just spent 5 wonderful days in Maggi Roes.. The house is spotless and has everything you need for a few days in Wexford. There are some fabulous beaches very close including my favourite, Duncannon beach. We would definitely return to Maggi Roes!

We had a lovely week. The house was perfect, lovely location and very homely. The owner is a lovely lady and there is so much to do and see around this area, I would recommend it to anyone.

It was a fishing holiday with my son, and the cottage was ideally located for the Bannow estuary, Duncannon beach and all the other little beaches like Dollar, Booley and Carnival. If you are thinking of fishing this peninsula then this is the place to stay, we had a great time, and a few pints of Guinness in Malloys Bar at the night time what more could you ask for, will definitely be back later this year.

A lovely cosy home, very well equipped in a beautiful part of County Wexford. We also enjoyed the spacious garden.
