Thank you Sykes cottages, it was a pleasure dealing with you from start to finish, from the time of booking to our stay.. Lough Cluhir was so good, it had absolutely everything you needed. Very cosy with a log burning stove. The enclosed garden was brilliant for out doggie, he really enjoyed his stay too as he had such freedom.. Thanks again Sykes cottages, I have already recommended you to my friends.

We loved this cosy and very comfortable cottage. Its got everything you need from a well equipped kitchen, xbox 390 and loads of games, excellent wi fi and a smart tv with Netflix. The open plan living, dining and kitchen is well laid out and comfortable as are the bedroom. The enclosed garden is perfect for our dog. We recommend Dintys in Union Hall, and the Glandore inn and Hayes in nearby Glandore for food. And the fish shop selling the catch off the local fishing boats has the best fresh fish.

This is a lovely comfortable cosy cottage.. It is well laid out, with a fully equipped kitchen, excellent wi-fi, a smart TV with netflix built in and an enclosed garden that was prefect for our dog. The location is very good, with lovely rural walks on the door step, close to a small village and easy access to the scenic sites of West Cork. we can recommend the local restuarants in Union Hall and Glandore. There is also a small fish shop in the village selling the fresh fish right of the boats that is wroth a visit. We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend this cottage

An excellent location for a quiet holiday with water based activities close by.. You can't see it from the photos, but there is a great view of the lake from the front windows. Squince beach with local walks is highly recommended. Close to Union Hall and Leap. Skibbereen and Rosscarbery are only 15 minutes drive from the house.

The weather was unusually cold for March and it was lovely to go back to the warm and comfortable cottage each day.. It is well positioned, clean and nicely furnished. It is the nicest cottage we have stayed in which is why we have just been back there for the fourth time. West Cork is a lovely part of Ireland and we are frequent visitors.

Returned today after a wonderful stay at this lake house. The amenities were second to none and the property is very well maintained. The location of the cottage is idyllic and on the doorstep of many of west cork best attracions. I travelled with a a large group however have already booked again to return with my children. Would highly recommend this property.
