The main negative comments on this cottage appear to be around parking.. I have to say we encountered no problems at all. The cottage is extremely well equipped and comfortable and is exactly what we would expect.

The cottage was lovely, no faults there at all.. We took our little dog with us and although there is a pub across the road no dogs were allowed in there, so to be able to have a drink where you can take your dog is a car ride away and of course no drinking and driving so never went out in the evening. The area was extremely steep so walking to the village shops was impossible especially for older people plus no paths to walk on which was scary at times. We had only been there ten minutes when some local asked us to move our car slightly even though the area to park on was a tiny corner in front of the busy road. The cottage was lovely but the location very poor

We were not able to use the lovely bath because of the poor plumbing.. The shower drowned you when you opened the door to turn it on. Many small things that could have improved our stay, like 1 1/2 toilet rolls for 2 adults for a week, no sample toiletries just old ones that had obviously been there a long time, one small bath and hand towel each, pillows flat as pancakes obviously old, noisy heating that came on at 6.30( who gets up at that time on holiday). Didn,t know how to alter that.

The images of the cottage are misleading as it appears to be in the countryside or in a quiet village.. It is in fact in a small village on a steep hill that is extremely busy. There was traffic noise from dawn to dusk which could be heard through the double glazing. The owner/caretaker of the cottage was difficult to get hold of 48 hours before arrival and then again on the day of arrival as she was meeting us at the cottage. That didn't start our holiday off to a good start as we were worried about getting the keys. Then the laminate clearly stated that you have to get hold of them within 24 hours of arrival if there is anything wrong, which kind of means that they are not available the rest of the week! Parking to the cottage is extremely iffy. You can only park in the tiniest of spots right near the road, otherwise you get told to move. The plumbing needs looking at in the bathroom cos it says that you can take a luxurious bath but the hot water is a trickle so it would take an hour to fill it! There was also a lot of black mould in the bathroom which is a health hazard. The welcome laminate clearly stated that there would be a welcome basket of local foods....there was none! Very disappointing! The kitchen isn't very well equipped. There were no wooden spoons, the slotted spoon was broken. There weren't enough pyrex dishes, or tins or dishes. It is a self catering cottage so by that very definition it should cater to people who actually wish to cook! There was no wok so we couldn't cook a stir fry and there weren't enough saucepans. The television in the bedroom is at such an angle that if you wish to watch it in bed, you get a crick in your neck. Positioned on the opposite wall to the left of the bathroom would be a better place. I am pretty sure that the televisions shouldn't be left on standby all the time. That is a waste of electricity and surely a fire hazard? There is no garden to this property so not ideal if you have a dog. We didn't so it didn't bother us though it would have been nice.

The cottage was excellent.. The parking was not as it looked.you have to park by the wall at the front of the cottage by the road. It wasn't pet friendly as the enclosed area, you had to take your dog to as no axcess from cottage. the hob oven and grill not very clean also the cutlery with egg stains and brown tea spoons.a tap which was so stiff to turn on and off.and one toilet roll.this place needs a bit of maintenance

We had a lovely holiday in Wales.. The cottage was a good base for sightseeing and Dyserth itself a lovely little village with plenty of history and amenities. The cottage itself is right next to the waterfall for which Dyserth is famous. The cottage was as expected internally, clean and comfortable with everything needed for our stay. A delicious cake was left for us by the owner to welcome us. The negative aspect is that although pets are welcome the external area of the cottage is not suitable for dogs. There is no garden to speak of and what there is is open with a four foot drop to the road and a dog cannot be let out on its own. Our dog is small and elderly but does like to potter outside herself. There was no way we could allow this as she would have either jumped off the wall or wandered off. As the cottage is next to a busy road (which did not detract from our stay, by the way) the outcome might not be good. I feel this should be mentioned as holiday cottages accepting dogs are not always easy to find and I admit I was disappointed about the lack of garden. I should have asked about it before booking. Having said all of this I would recommend the cottage itself as an ideal holiday base.

We thought the cottage was very comfortable but we expected the patio to be accessible from a door leading from cottage so we could put our small dog out easily but it turned out to be more of a yardd that you had to walk around the cottage to and not dog friendly! Car parking very restrive as what appears to be a wide drive alongside is private land and found the lady owner taking photos of our car. Steps upto cottage not safe for elderly couple and difficult getting cases into cottage.

Lovely cottage right next to a waterfall, the cottage was immaculate, finished to a high quality, very comfy (large! !!) bed, nice touches such as a cream cake for us and milk in the fridge. only slight niggle..could have done with an airer to put the wet towels, but that was only a minor drawback. the heating and water were very easy to use. we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate to go back as it was very central to all tourist attraciions. a huge Tesco was only 2 miles away in prestatyn which also had a large retail park!

The cottage is super but their can be problems with parking, small space by road is marked private but the sign is not very clear and people tend to park their if visiting waterfall or cafe.. Also the garden is not really a garden just an outside space with table and chairs surrounded by walls.

The bungalow is absolutely beautiful, it has literally everything that you could need to start your holiday with.. We stayed there for our honeymoon and was welcomed by beautiful rose petals on the table and the bed with a very nice bottle of champagne and chocolates and a homemade cake in the kitchen for us. The bungalow itself is beautifully presented with gorgeous ornaments and decor. Exceptionally clean too. The area is stunning with the waterfall next door and two really nice pubs just a stroll across the road in distance. Was incredibly sad having to leave and come back home. Thank you for a very memorable stay.

This cottage is stunning, absolutely perfect.. Spotless clean and so comfortable. Beautiful bed and bedding. Everything you could wish for. It lacked nothing, a very good area for touring and a fab pub across the road, be prepared for rather large portions. Can recommend this property.

Llidiart Cerrig Cottage is a hidden treasure, not only set right next to a stunning waterfall and stream, the cottage itself is everything you could ask for inside.. newly decorated in a modern but still cottage style it is a home from home, so cosy you don't want to go out! The attention to detail throughout is just gorgeous. The cottage is warm, quiet and spotless and the owner goes above and beyond with the welcome pack and added extras. A real find! We will definatley be returning in 2018!
