We have just thoroughly enjoyed a week in the owl cabin.. The worst thing about the whole holiday was leaving to go home, we could have easily stayed there forever. Such a beautiful, peaceful, scenic plot with the most spacious wonderful log cabin we have ever stayed in. The alpacas were such a lovely bonus. Very well looked after and when you walk next to their paddock they follow you ☺️ Beautiful walks and a 2 minute walk to a lovely stream we took our dogs to every day. So private and quiet. Steve and Eileen (the owners) were always so friendly, helpful and polite. Steve told us everything we needed to know and was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice on where to go etc. He invited my children over to feed the alpacas carrots when he was there and told them all about them. He never made us feel like anything was too much trouble and we had some lovely chats and laughs with him, very funny guy

We had a lovely little family break.. The cabin was so cosy with the log fire. Eileen and Steve were wonderful - we were running later than planned by 2.5 hours and our shopping was being delivered when we had originally been planning to be there, they unpacked it all for us, they were very accommodating. They gave us a lovely welcome, showing us how to use everything and around the cabin, they also left welsh cakes, prosecco and dog treats. In the cabin there is a helpful book that tells you everything you need to know about the cabin, starting the log fire, and all the local amenities. Our dogs loved the cabin, plenty of room for them to play and the Alpacas are an added bonus. Although the fences are low and cabins are quite close together you don’t ever hear each other and it is still very private. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

What a lovely place, set in the heart of mid Wales. The cabin was a large space with a central log burner with wood supplied. All the comforts of home provided with internet and freesat. The large hot tube was even nice in the rainy cold nights. The enclosed garden was secure enough for two mad dogs who liked to look at the llamas in their enclosure. The owner was very helpful and approachable, nothing was too much. A total of 4 cabins making the site feel friendly and secure. Would recommend the cabins and site for friends to get together and families

We enjoyed our stay at Owl Cottage - our second one as we came last year - which is a recommendation in itself.. The cabin is very comfortable and there are lots of towels and some basics like detergent and dish washer tablets. Our only criticism is that we could have done with a couple of bowl for salads and fruit and a couple of sharp knives and some bread and milk as part of the hamper (we did get a lovely bottle of Prosecco though). However there is lots of cutlery and crockery. We struggled a bit with the TV/DVD player but Mr Brown came straight away to give us instructions. We will return to this lovely part of Wales and Owl Cabin again.

We had a lovely holiday, hot tub was amazing, fire came with logs and we had a few bits to keep us going, washing up tablets, dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc.. The holiday home was build to brilliant standard and it was everything we expected and more. We have stayed in 4 or 5 log cabins and this was by far the best. The owners were lovely. Thank you very much.

We really enjoyed our stay.. We had a beautiful view form the cabin of the spectacular Welsh countryside and a good-sized lawn for the grandchildren to play games. Lots of DVDs, books and games were provided. The cabin itself is very roomy, with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of room to sit. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub as did a couple of the grown-ups. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Our grandson (aged 6) very much hopes we will return and we have assured him that this is very likely! Thank you too to Steve who showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had a lovely time in a beautiful setting.. Owners were very helpful giving us a tour when we arrived. Would have been more fantastic if there were bigger beds there, than just doubles for those of us that are taller so we could get a good nights sleep.

So much space, beautiful surroundings, so well eqipped.. The hosts, Steve and Eileen had thought of everthing - this was a masterclass in 'how to run a holiday home'. Steve even towed us up the icy lane when we left!

Owners were lovely! Cabin exceeded our expectations and hot tub was fantastic and cleaned every day! We did an online shop from supermarket and owners kindly met them and put it away for us! Great area for dog to run around in and both our children (5 & 8months) loved it too! Lots of outdoor and indoor toys for children to use plus lots of DVDs and books for a rainy day! Will definitely be returning in the future!

We had a really relaxing break the log cabin was lovely. Steve greated us on our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the cabin, we had everything we could have possibly needed and more. Set in a beautiful, peaceful position on the owners land you feel like you are miles from anywhere, it really is a great place to unwind and get away from it all. The cabin is very clean and tidy and that spacious we were pleasantly surprised as the photos really don't do it justice, then with the enclosed garden for the dog and hot tub for us everyone was happy. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

When we arrived, we were greeted by Steve and Eilleen, the owners. Very friendly people. Helpful and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Good, honest people! When I asked how far the nearest shop was for a razor, Eilleen went out of her way to get me one from her house to save us an 18 mile trip! Absolutely stunning place! We booked this weekend break and travelled as two couples with 2 dogs. Cabin in very spacious even with the dogs and the facilities are perfect. Everything you would need so it was like home from home! Kitchen was kitted out with everything you would need to make decent dinners including cutlery, crockery etc. Views from the French doors were stunning. So tranquil and quiet. The only noise was the noise we made and the odd sheep. En suite bathrooms were better than my own at home! Plenty of red hot water and showers were great with good water pressure. Being set in 19 acres, it was lovely to wander down to the river where the dogs had a swim followed by a toast by the log burner inside. Very cosy. The hot tub was amazing. Even in the rain! We went to Hafren forest which wasn't too far and equally breathtaking. Overall it was a very welcomed break and we will definitely be returning. Hidden gem of Wales Thank you!
