Little Silver Leaf is a superb shepherd's hut nestled within the owner's grounds, on the edges of the Devon village of High Bickington. Set over ground floor, with three steps up to the accommodation, this property has one king-size double bed, sleeping two people. Additionally, there is a shower room and an open-plan living room featuring a kitchen, seating with foldaway dining table and woodburning stove. To the exterior is off-road parking, Tesla electric charging point and free electric charging for cars and your very own private lawned garden with patio area, furniture, firepit and hot tub. Little Silver Leaf offers some different in a beautiful, rural location.

All ground floor (3 steps up). Studio accommodation: 1 x king-size double. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open-plan living area with kitchen, seating with foldaway dining table and wood-burning stove.

Area
The village of High Bickington is set in the area known as 'Tarka country', in North Devon. On a ridge above the Taw Valley boasting views towards Exmoor and Dartmoor, the village offers a Post Office, two pubs and Libbaton golf course. Within driving distance is the town of Great Torrington. This area of North Devon has something for everyone including country walks, fishing and golf, as well as access to a selection of wonderful beaches.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Heating, power and supply of logs inc. in rent, additional logs available to purchase onsite. Bed linen, towels and bathrobes inc. in rent. Off-road parking in carpark with Tesla electric charging point (also provides type 2 connection), fees will be applied and payment will be arranged directly with owners. Golf Buggy for transport around site. Private lawned garden with patio area, furniture, chiminea and hot tub. Communal grounds and seating areas. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.7 miles. Note: There are 3 steps up to this property, not suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 at this property. Note: This property does not accept children or infants.

I just wanted to say thank you for our stay at Little silver leaf. Unfortunately we felt we had to give a slightly mixed bit of feedback here. We cannot fault the location and there is lots to like. However we did feel very let down with the lack of a hot tub for over half of our stay and although we did use the owl hot tub once, we did find the little walk off putting. I understand the issues you had obtaining a part but we felt this is something that could of been mentioned before our arrival and we would definitely of changed the date. Having spent over £400 to stay here this was one of, if not the main feature so for us it was not value for money. We also felt the hot water did not last very long at all in the shower. After 1 and a half showers, unfortunately it did not stay warm long enough for my partner to wash the conditioner out of her hair. Slightly annoying. Finally, for someone who doesn't drink caffein but enjoys a coffee. I was surprised to see that there were no decaf coffee pods to use in your advertised coffee machine. Again, this is really disappointing. We do feel really disappointed as we are local people who would make use of your facilties again. However we do feel let down. I apologise to come across negative but I'm sure you take feedback seriously and are always looking to improve. Kind Regards Alex

This stay is a little gem. Very high quality facilities and private yet sociable site with thoughtful details. We loved everything and the golf buggies were really fun. Very beautiful surroundings, top marks from us!

WOW !!! !!!! The cottage was far better than we had anticipated, it went above and miles beyond our expectations. From the amazing little cottage which provided everything you would need, to the hot tub over looking the amazing scenery. The host were friendly and welcoming and were there if every you needed anything. Plus you have the added bonus of driving a golf kart for the duration of your stay around the place. We will defo be back in the near future.

Absolutely amazing holiday! Little Silver Leaf was immaculate, well equipped and modern. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was lovely and storage space was superb! Hot tub was brand new with amazing views over the valley. The 3 huts have been positioned really well to avoid overlooking each other and it was a really idyllic, secluded and quiet retreat. Perfect holiday and would 100% recommend.

Brilliant experience ! set in a beautiful setting, clean and perfectly equipped with the perfect hosts ! loved the hut, loved jacuzzi and enjoyed the golf cart ! A quirky high end experience can't wait to get back !

What a lovely place, the views over the valley below with the river, train track, cows and sheep is just perfect.. You can hear the birds song including an owl hooting while soaking away in the hot tub after a busy day out. The shepherd's hut has underfloor heating so is as warm as you like and if you want more heat then light the wood burner if you can. The golf buggies to take you the short distance from the parking area to the hut is a joy, to be honest it's not a long walk but so much easier to drive. The hosts were very welcoming and also had a welcome basket of goodies which was an unexpected delight. Booking here would not disappoint.
