Little Lodge 1 is well decorated and extremely clean and tide throughout.. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The location was quiet and peaceful yet within easy reach of many attractions. Highly recommended.

It was thoughtful of Owner Jackie to provide milk, jam, bread and biscuits.. The Property was well designed, nicely decorated and furnished and in a peaceful location. It would have been most helpful to have been made aware in advance that there was no Mobile or Wi-Fi Signal in the property. We had an very elderly relative in a poor state of health and daily contact with his care establishment could have been made in the evenings from our location.

This was the third time we have stayed at Little Lodges which serves to illustrate our complete satisfaction with this holiday experience.. The hosts,Jackie and Kevin,go above and beyond to ensure that guests have an enjoyable holiday. The lodges are comfortable, clean and set in beautiful grounds which are well maintained. The welcome pack provided means that you can enjoy a hot drink and a snack before unloading the car.We highly recommend Little Lodges.

Very nice cottage, in a nice area by the river, when we arrived there was milk .... Very nice cottage, in a nice area by the river, when we arrived there was milk and cheese in the fridge along with jam and marmalade, in the cupboard there was tea coffee, and biscuits, The owner whose name escapes me at the moment, called round to see if everything was ok, and to let us know that if we needed anything to give her a knock, she also said that on our departure day there was no pressure on leaving by ten, and to go when we were ready, a thoroughly relaxing break

It's a lovely wooden interior lodge with all the facilities needed for two.. Gets a bit warm in warm weather and you can't simply leave the windows open to cool as the biting insects are drawn in by the lights. No wi-fi, which would have been useful, especially as mobiles get no signal - unless you really want to be away from it all! We enjoyed ourselves. There's a Morrisons in Dereham 5 miles away and a very good general store in nearby Swanton Morley, and its well placed for Blickling Hall, Oxburgh Hall, Wells-by-the-sea and Norwich. We'd happily go again.

Our second stay this year at Little Lodge 1 and on both times it has been wondeful to just turn up and find it spotlessly clean, freshly aired and with everything provided for a self catering holiday. The owners are around if you need them for anything but are not intrusive, they just leave you to it. Ideal place.

First thing you notice when you enter Little Lodges is the cleanliness of the accommodation.. The welcome pack provided by Jackie and Kevin is excellent and enables you to chill out with a drink and snack before tackling the unloading of your car.The Lodges are quiet and secluded with no passing traffic and the extensive grounds are meticulously maintained by Kevin. No wi-fi and intermittent phone reception may not suit everyone but can help for a truly relaxing 'get away from it all' week in a beautiful part of Norfolk.

Spotless. Our second time at Little Lodges and guests are guaranteed to walk in on a freshly aired, thoroughly cleaned cottage.. Jackie clearly takes pride in keeping the cottages clean, well maintained and having everything in working order and thinking of everything a customer might need for a self catering holiday. It's in a quiet country location just five minutes drive from the town of Dereham.

The owners clearly take great pride in presenting a spotlessly clean, well equipped and well maintained holiday let.. It’s situated down a private road, there is no passing traffic, it is so peacefully quiet. We have booked again already and would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.

This cottage would be a 5 star rating if only if it had wifi as the phone signal was quite poor which hindered looking up information about the area hard, otherwise a perfect cottage..

Would definately recommend staying at little lodge 1, my partner and me had a very relaxing break here.. The bungalow is beautiful inside, the decor and cleanliness is second to none, and the grounds are set in peaceful beautiful woodland surroundings. The owners are very lovely and made us feel very welcome, giving great advice about getting to various places, Will definately be staying here again. Thank you for a really great stay :)

The property was an excellent base for exploring Norfolk, especially by bike and had easy access to coast and country. The lodge was spotlessly clean and well furnished. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, watching the birds and were even visited by a deer.

We had a lovely time; we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and were given information to make our stay perfect. The accommodation was like a home from home. It was a great location, peaceful and beautiful and we could watch the Deer and other wildlife up close from the patios. It was a great location for visiting some great sights and attractions too. We would highly recommend.

The owners had perfectly prepared everything down to the last detail. They were very welcoming and always on hand if we had needed anything during our time there. The rural location is very peaceful with very little light pollution so we enjoyed some beautiful night skies. Our cottage was a 'home from home' as soon as we stepped inside it. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for them. The cottage(s) are situated in a rural spot near woodland and fields of barley. Red deer seen one morning and a multitude of small birds feed in the garden each day. Lovely spot for fishing/walking/bird watching, nearby village has nice pub and small shop.

The space in the lodge was excellent, we have never had so much space in a two person accommodation. We like rooms with plenty of light, and this property with windows on both sides of the rooms gave this. We like the countryside, so being on the edge of a wood was perfect for us, in all a perfect week.

The service we received was excellent, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The bungalow was very clean and tidy and met all our requirements. Lovely peaceful location off the beaten track but close enough to all local amenities. Would have liked to be fenced off from the owners dog as I am allergic,so did not use the garden patio. What did I like best? :- the location and the peace and quiet

The owner phoned beforehand to offer directions, a contact number and to ask if we wanted anything specific to be provided. Our host also provided a number of extra things to make our stay even more pleasant, e.g. a small Christmas tree, teabags and milk ready for our arrival. Everything was perfect, we had the best Christmas we have ever had.

I don't know what star grade you gave this property but if it wasn't 10 you didn't give it enough, the owners are the finest you could meet and the welcome pack puts top rated hotels to shame. I have to get around on a mobility scooter and the owners made sure my scooter batteries were fully charged every night ready for our trips out every day. We can't thank them enough for making our holiday worth travelling for, and we wont hesitate to go there again.

Just stayed here whilst house hunting in Norfolk. Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and well equipped in a peaceful setting. The owner Jackie was so helpful, offering to print house details off the internet and letting us use her map book. On arrival there was milk teabags and coffee as well as biscuits - most welcome. Would highly recomend these cottages. Centrally placed with good access to A47.
