In the centre of the room is a large kitchen island that doubles as a breakfast bar – pour yourself a cuppa using the coffee-maker or keep the chef company while they rustle up something tasty in the fully-equipped kitchen. For more formal dining, use the 6-seater table, or if you’d prefer to eat out then head to one of the Creole restaurants in the French Quarter, 25 minutes’ walk away.
