Les Bruyères Mimizan, Nouvelle-Aquitaine

We spent a very pleasant week in this house. The location is perfect for walks with direct access to electricity, our regrets: the absence of a plancha for outside and the overly expensive wifi option.

Very nice house well located. 1km from the city center. On the edge of the stream. Very pleasant. A very large garden. Ideal for the dog. 3 beautiful bedrooms. We had a great time. Negative point: we pick up the house at 4:30 p.m. and we have to return it at 9 a.m., a little too early because we lose a day.

A beautiful house with plenty of space for the family. Somewhat old but with a lot of charm. The garden is very large with a swing but left natural.

House very well located, next to the stream and close to the sea and the city center. Very nice house with its 2 terraces well exposed and pleasant to eat and relax. Nice veranda. The garden is superb and natural: a real corner of the Landes forest. The interior is simple and recalls the holidays of our childhood, the kitchen is functional. Qq points to improve: a larger coffee maker, a more comfortable sofa. The interhome team is very friendly.

Cleaning not done before our arrival: dirty floor, dishes to rewash, ditto for coffee maker, microwave… However pleasant location next to a stream and not far from the ocean. Beware of the nauseating smell (from stationery? Recycling center?) on certain days.

The house is large, well divided and Hattingen beautiful large garden. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the house left a lot to be desired when we arrived. Nevertheless, we spent a very nice holiday here. All initial deficiencies were immediately remedied by the very friendly and helpful on-site staff.

House as advertised

We have known the house for years and its location and facilities are good. Unfortunately, we had to make the experience that the cleanliness of the house - compared to previous years - has decreased a lot. There were black "mold spots" in the sink, most of the dishes had to be washed, glasses were gray and faded. Another shortcoming is the lack of fixed WiFi access in the house. In our opinion, that would be more up-to-date than the WiFi package, which also has to be rented.

Very nice house. The garden is very good, the terrace at the back very pleasant, and the veranda just perfect. The road is close, but cannot be heard (too much). 2 downsides: no BBQ (really too bad), and WiFi is a really expensive paying option.

very pleasant house, well exposed, near the current and accessible on foot to the forest or the shops, quiet. Aggression by waste from the Mimizan Bourg paper mill, depending on the winds. One night (the first!) particularly aggressive, even considering leaving this rental. Good responsiveness of employees for small hassles (TV-shower)

The house was known to us from the past. It is well located and due to the orientation of the various terraces you can always find a suitable (shady/sunny) stay. Unfortunately there were no sun loungers; there were only beach chairs available. The water pressure in the showers was too low. Still a good place to relax.

House well located and well equipped in general. A precise inventory of the equipment would be useful to make up for shortcomings before arrival: type of coffee maker? what sheets or duvet covers to provide because the 160 beds are in fact made up of 2 small mattresses, missing hair dryer, cushions on the veranda chairs totally crushed (to be replaced), sofa in the living room (click-clack bed) and 2 uncomfortable rattan chairs. The enclosed garden (in its natural state) is large and perfect for a dog.
