Le Rouge gorge

We were supposed to stay there for a week but left after two days. There was no privacy because the owner lived next door and was constantly looking in. It wasn't a private house either, but a very small gite with a door leading to the owner's house. Many things were broken, definitely not worth repeating. We contacted Interhome but didn't get a response. Everything on the website is incorrect.

The property was not completely securely fenced, and we had a visit from the landlord's dog. Furthermore, the fence is only 1 meter high in places. The landlord has two dogs living across the street. With an unsociable dog, it was difficult and not relaxing. Communication with the landlord was only in French, contrary to the information, and there was only one bed linen and no towels. Bathroom cleanliness was good, the rest was satisfactory; broken glass, cobwebs, and the stairs were not suitable for small children. Wi-Fi was often unavailable.

The house is magical, very quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The area is fantastic! Just be aware that you'll need a car. The landlord is very friendly and only speaks French. Unfortunately, the house wasn't very clean; I really expected better. And the gas stove lacks a quick-ignition device, which is a bit inconvenient.
