Le Golf Cabourg, Normandy

The apartment was exactly what we expected. It was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was the perfect location for the most incredible sunsets. The communal areas were kept spotlessly clean.

Very beautiful region. Despite the climate this year we had a very good holiday. The people are very welcoming, they have the sun in their hearts. Absolutely must see Mont Saint Michel, the cliffs of Etretat. And if you can, the magnificent American cemetery. A superb setting for the soldiers who died in France.

The description: 1 room - 1 bedroom - 1 bathroom describes an apartment with 2 rooms. Instead, it is a 1-room apartment with a fold-away bed and a kitchenette. Living room and bathroom both had mold. The kitchen was also poor, eg drawers stuck/doors sagged. There were some loose screws in the floor that could have hurt you. Absolutely positive to mention are the location and the view of the sea.

The view is pleasantly surprising!

FUNCTIONAL AND BRIGHT HOUSING

Very well equipped kitchen, great view, the apartment could do with a refurbishment in some places. But the view makes up for everything

The apartment is unfortunately a bit worn. The lack of care runs through everywhere. First we had to clean everything to be comfortable. The badly worn out mattress had a very negative effect on our stay. This urgently needs to be replaced. In addition, clear the drains in the shower, a new toilet brush and a thorough cleaning of the apartment. If this is implemented, we will gladly come back. Location and beach are great.

Needs a little more thorough cleaning

A lot of small defects ensured that I can not give this house more than average, despite the beautiful view. Examples are: screws protruding from the floor, poorly lit bathroom, lack of space to hang a coat, toilet door that did not close properly, mirror that is too high, ect. In addition, some corners were poorly cleaned and if the wind was wrong, there was a whooshing sound because the sliding doors do not close properly. So nothing to write home about.

On arrival the geyser was not working. After 3 hours of calling back and forth (almost no English speaking) a mechanic finally came. The apartment was very dirty everywhere. The view was beautiful but the balcony was on the north instead of. south so we couldn't sit outside most of the time. The pool was also closed due to general hygiene, so not recommended. Bad WiFi

The apartment is suitable for a couple or a single person. There are plenty of kitchen accessories. The plus that justifies a score well above average is the view of the sea, impregnable, just for yourself.

Photos misleading in terms of space, once the bed is out of the wall there is no more room in this studio. The only positive point is the view of the sea!

An apartment very well located, on the first floor, facing the sea, this allows you to make the most of it. The apartment itself suited us well, well equipped with everything you need to live there, sleep and cook. Otherwise its location close to the sights of the region is ideal. We therefore recommend Cabourg and Dives with its market of very good local products: for example oysters N°2 at 6 euros for thirteen...
