Parking (for 3 cars) on the premises. Shop 4 km, restaurant 200 m, outdoor swimming pool 4 km, thermal baths "Janské Lázně" 15 km. Walking paths from the house, cycle lane 200 m, ski lift 700 m. Nearby attractions: Stezka korunami stromů 13 km, ZOO Dvůr Králové 34 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Dolní Dvůr 2.7 km, Černý Důl, Kněžický vrch-Vrchlabí 8 km, Černá Hora-Janské Lázně, Herlíkovice 13 km. I have sent you an extensive email about my experiences. If it's good you would have heard it too, if it's bad too. I've been going to Czech Republic on holiday for 15 years, but this is the biggest disappointment ever.

The accommodation is great, the arrangement is excellent, but bedroom no. 4 is really "in the living room", so you have to take into account that you can hear more of what is happening in the cottage (you can go through this living room from two bedrooms), which in they don't cover the advertisement :) The common room is elsewhere, so you don't have to worry about having to go to bed last.

The house is old and rustic. That's exactly what we wanted. But we didn't want a dirty house. Nothing was cleaned. We believe that there was no cleaner in the house before we came. There were used handkerchiefs on the beds and the leftovers from the previous tenant were still in the fridge. It was very, very dusty and I won't even get started on the moderate cobwebs. We really don't have high standards but that's really unreasonable.

The house was not clean at all. Sheets with stains and holes, the dishwasher was still full, ashes from the stove around the stove and everywhere was a lot of dust. Also the bathroom was not clean. The sandwich iron had all baked on cheese and the pans were still dirty. The pans all had a damaged non-stick coating. Not all electric heaters worked well. And the restaurant nearby is not a restaurant in winter, it can only be eaten by the pension guests.

It is a beautiful house with more to be made of. Kitchen and living room were fine and probably renovated in 2020 too, but not the rest. There needs to be a major renovation. Cleanliness should also be improved. If you're not too picky and can make certain cuts, you can go on holiday there. We made the best of it.
