Overall Lamb Cottage is a lovely house in a wonderful secluded position.
Cleanliness is still an issue, bathroom cupboards seriously need wiping down (I did it myself), downstairs shower lots of grime in the corners, kitchen floor sticky. There are obviously drainage problems as the dishwasher and sinks stink. Food left in the freezer but there is now cleaning products for you to clean yourself, if you wish.
We had ripped pillow cases, pillow cases with their labels still on them and no pillow protectors.
Our biggest complaint was half a toilet roll for a 3 bathroom property (yes I am serious), no toilet roll at all in two of the bathrooms which I discovered when I was downstairs and hubby was on level 3. Arrived late at night after the shops had closed, it was a pain in the backside until we could get to the co-op the following day.
I think one hairdryer for a 3 bedroom property is also a bit mean.
It could be a wonderful property with a bit more thought and attention to detail and a better cleaning regime.

Stunning location, lovely house, top quality fixtures and fittings. Concerns were raised with Sykes prior to our break after reading some reviews about cleanliness. No response from owners.
Sadly this house has not been given any respect and certainly there is no respect for those holidaying here. Following our break and our experience reiterated to Sykes, the owners have still not responded.
So where to start. It’s filthy. There are no cleaning products on site or bin bags.
The bins themselves had food deposits in and around the bins.
Oven unusable as grease laden.
Sink, black around any sealed areas and plugs.
Windows smeared and dirty.
Cupboard handles and cupboard doors dirty smears.
Fridge spotless.
Bathroom sinks, black plug holes
Toilet bowls dirty.
Washer see i,age, could not use
Dishwasher, old food left in it
No bins
No welcome pack
Shower, see image, slime and grime.
Previous occupants washing in a cupboard.
Utility cleanest area except for washer.
Dusty surfaces and skirting board
I did a review for Sykes and did not make public in the hope that the owner would respond.
This is a stunning property and a gorgeous location.
Sadly it’s dirty and unhygienic
NI is great
