Ladera is an exquisite family villa on the outskirts of the sleepy ex-fishing village of Tamariu, famed for its beautiful horseshoe-shaped beach. This spacious four bedroom villa is an ‘upside down’ property whereby you enter on the second floor and take the staircase down to the first floor where you will find all four comfortable bedrooms, two of which benefit from their own ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms are made up of two double rooms and two twin rooms, and three of the rooms have access to a shared balcony which lines the back of the house, overlooking the pretty private pool below. On the ground floor you will find the main living accommodation, with an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. Lined by several windows and patio doors, this social space is light and bright, and leads right out into the wonderful lawn gardens and down to the pool terrace. There is a west-facing dining terrace with barbecue, perfect for dining alfresco, and the private pool in its south-facing position is lined by pine trees and offers the perfect place to swim while enjoying the tranquillity of this area. A 15 minute walk downhill leads you to one of the best beaches on the Costa Brava, embraced by pine-clad headlands; its beach is very pretty, family-friendly and sheltered. There is a pretty promenade of restaurants and cafes lining the beach, however this part of Costa Brava has so many beautiful and untouched villages to explore. Ten minutes in one direction is the pretty village of Llafranc, while 15 minutes in the other direction is the historic village of Begur – neither to be missed during your stay on the very beautiful Costa Brava.
