La Rose des Vents

A highly recommended accommodation in a great location in the lovely little town of Yport. Just a few steps from the water. The house is quite large, very well furnished, and comfortable. It has nice bedrooms, a living-dining room with a kitchen, a large, beautiful bathroom, and a second toilet. It's a lovely terrace, and the bike storage is very useful. There's no Wi-Fi, which we had overlooked, but we didn't really miss it. The landlady is very friendly! We'd be happy to come back.

- The directions are incorrect and Google Maps is misleading; the accommodation was ultimately only found with the help of locals. - Inadequate information about the parking situation: parking in Yport is subject to a fee from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. It's one euro per hour. Most parking meters only accept coins (inconvenient). - Some things in the holiday home need replacing (e.g., the oilcloth on the dining table). The bedroom on the second floor smells like a damp basement. Overall, though, it's okay.

This was our second time here. The house, the area, everything was wonderful. Perfect for us and it certainly won't be the last time we're there.

Very nice holiday home, perfectly furnished and in a wonderful setting. Great beds, lovely bathroom. Beach, bakery, supermarket, butcher, etc. within walking distance. Ideal connection to the Grande Randonnée 21, one of the most popular coastal hiking trails in France. We will definitely come back.

The house, the small, cozy place, the surroundings, the key handover: everything was perfect! We would book the house again immediately. Parking situation: It was clear that there was no parking space directly at the house. In the pre-/post-season it is also no problem to find a parking space in the village. BUT: from June 1st to September 30th, ALL parking spaces are subject to a fee from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (1 euro per hour). Regular checks! This has been the case for 2 years and should also be communicated by Iterchalet.

The accommodation is very clean and well equipped. The view from the upper bedroom is magnificent. The house is in a quiet, central location, parking during the day is only available for a fee.

Since we are often on the road in France, I can really say; We have never had such a lovingly furnished and fully equipped accommodation. It is down a small side street which was a bit difficult to find. The parking situation could also be difficult during the season. We were out there. Otherwise, the small town has everything for daily needs, a small supermarket, a bakery and a butcher's shop and of course nice restaurants. way to the beach, less than 5 min

Very good location near the sea, quiet and comfortable. Very clean and functional. We recommend this rental.

The small town is very beautiful. In the morning, the baker can be easily reached on foot. In the small supermarket in town you can get everything you need every day, otherwise the larger supermarkets are not far away. The house offers everything you need, no defects or complaints.

Because of the view we occupied the upper bedroom. Well-equipped kitchen, because of the space the storage space (worktop) is a bit limited. No parking problems in the low season (will probably be different for HS). Central location, everything not far away (sea, restaurant, bakery, bus stop).

Well-equipped and tastefully designed holiday home. Beautiful view from the bedroom on the top floor over the roofs towards the bay and the sea. Just a few steps to the boardwalk. Friendly landlady. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac, you can only park in the surrounding streets (was no problem mid-May during the week, weekends were busier). Quiet place, good starting point for excursions in the region.
