La Princesse Forcalquier, Provence-Alps-French Riviera

We were with a group of 11 people and had a wonderful time in La Princesse! Fantastic location, beautifully furnished house and the terraces and pool made our holiday perfect. The landlady was also really nice (if you speak French ;) ). We'd love to come back!

This is the fourth time we have been to La Princesse, previously with small children and now with grown-up children ;-. What impresses here is simply the charm, the extremely quiet location outside the village, the pool and the whole property - simply fantastic! We give the accommodation 10 out of 10 stars/points. The smallest points of criticism are that the mattresses in the annex are perhaps too soft (everyone has their own preferences) and there is a slight smell of oil in the annex (not in the main house). Full recommendation from our extended family!

The house is idyllic and quiet and leaves almost nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, due to sewage problems, we were only able to use one of the three bathrooms (one of which was newly renovated) for most of the holiday. With 7 people it was a bit annoying. The odor nuisance in the house was also immense. It was positive that the key holder and the craftsmen tried very hard to solve the problem. But then it took 1.5 weeks...

Beautiful house with some downsides: -run off bathrooms and toilets in nature, with regular stench as a result. - have to call for maintenance pool, although the company claimed that it was done - additional payment for electricity and gas was expensive - additional light points on both terraces and the BBQ would be pleasant.

We had a great stay in this well appointed, tastefully decorated mas. However, I do not recommend this rental in winter given the area and volume of the main room. We reached 18C° after 5 days with fireplace and heating knowing that the price of heating is extra as well as the wood for the fireplace. So 300€ extra at our expense. I think summer is a paradise...

Nice place, quiet and well equipped house.

Beautiful house, everything a person should have for a wonderful holiday. Only a lot is outdated, a renovation of the electricity is desirable. Swimming pool = top but also here some renovation needed. WiFi signal is weak and only works indoors. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves here for 7 days and would definitely book back in 2021. The bakery is about 8 minutes away, supermarket about 20 minutes.

We spent a very nice week in this magnificent farmhouse. The lady who greeted us was very attentive and available (and kind). No problems to report except that the dishwasher was not working. Nothing serious. I recommend !
