Kizzie's Cottage is a pretty, detached, stone-built, single-storey cottage, located in the grounds of Bank House, Guyzance, just five miles from Warkworth and can sleep two people. Another Percy residence can be seen nearby in the form of Alnwick Castle, most famous now for its part as Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter films. Full of Georgian and early Victorian houses, Alnwick boasts a host of architecturally interesting buildings and is home to an exceptional range of galleries, antique shops, a village shop-cum-post office, pubs, restaurants and gift shops.

Lovely cottage, so very cosy and comfortable and the best bed ever.. We wanted a relaxing holiday and that's exactly what we got. And the enclosed garden was a treat for our 2 dogs, they loved it and only ever wanted in when it was feeding time!. Can't wait to return and Darren made us feel very welcome and left us a very thoughtful welcome pack. Paradise found and wish we could keep it just for ourselves.

An excellent stay at Kizzie's Cottage which was clean, comfortable and well located for our many trips to the nearby beaches.. Darren's welcome pack was much appreciated; a nice touch to include some treats for our dog. We have no hesitation in recommending the cottage and the location to those wishing to spend some time in this wonderful part of the UK.

Great accommodation perfect for a couple plus dog.. Kizzies Cottage had everything in it to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Lovely interior and a nice touch for the owner to leave us a bottle of wine, some chocolates, fresh flowers and biscuits for the dog. Secure garden both back and front. Lovely walks from the property too.

A very good holiday let, very clean and tidy.. Roomy accommodation for two people. A little difficult to find in the complex. It would be useful to have better instructions from the parking lot. it would also be helpful to mark the parking space.

Great place for getting out with the dogs.. It was useful to have a rear entrance so the dogs could get into the kitchen when they came home without having to go all through the house before getting dried off. The cottage is really peaceful, even though there are people in adjacent cottages, and the rear garden is very private. Within easy reach of the coast and Alnwick is close if you need to shop, as there is a large Sainsbury's just off the A1. There is also a convenience store at Shilbottle. Lots to see and do round about, though sorry that Howick Hall, home of Early Grey, does not allow dogs. Druridge Bay is great for dogs and enjoying the coast, but get there early as it tends to fill up. Travelling was easy, as it is not far off the A1. We would definitely stat here again.

We loved our stay at Kizzies Cottage over Christmas.. It was a perfect location, tucked away in the woods and very quiet - just the sound of the birds! There are other cottages around (although we didn’t see anyone except the postman) so you don’t feel completely isolated either. It was really close to the seaside - about an hours walk or 10 minute drive to Warkworth. We discovered a brilliant dog friendly place to eat in Amble called The Fish Shack. Really fresh and tasty food. Would definitely stay here again - thank you!

We loved the location of this cottage, near to the beach at Warkworth and also a good distance from other towns and villages. The cottage itself is gorgeous! And so comfortable and clean. We loved the fact that they accept dogs, our Labrador had the best week of his life with miles of beaches to run on and lots of friends to meet! We will definitely recommend to friends/family and work colleagues! We absolutely loved it!

We liked everything about our holiday. The cottage was in a perfect location and so cosy and pretty too. It feels remote but in fact is only a short drive to the seaside and the well known places of interest. It was a lovely place to come back to in the late afternoon and enjoy the peace of the countryside.
