The cottage was really well equipped for people both with and without mobility issues. Cindy our host was charmin, welcoming and helpful when we arrived and during our week-long stay. Suggest visitors check out which hostelries are still open. There was a lot to do within easy travel distance. The cottage garden led down to pond which had plenty of wildlife to watch and admire. A brilliant relaxing stay. Thankyou.

Holiday was good.. Only issue was unexpected addition of an extra £10 on total cost after I’d paid full price as advertised. As it was a late booking I had to pay the extra to get contact details of property and there was no opportunity to ring to discuss as nobody answering phones. Very shoddy practice by Sykes. The cottage was as advertised and we had a lovely week.

We’ve had a lovely weeks holiday, of course the sunshine helped but the wonderful garden with pond was great for sitting and enjoying the wildlife. We enjoyed chatting with Cindy and meeting George (dog) and the welcome of a cream tea for arrival was a perfect touch. The place is comfortable and well equipped and we highly recommend as a perfect location for seeing the area.

Our stay (2 weeks) in the clean and comfortable Kingfisher Cottage was really enjoy-able. Very friendly hosts made our holidays a real success, no matter if we needed help with a flat tyre or arranging a visit to Sandringham. They always knew how to make us feel welcome.

Cindy and Paul were very welcoming.. The cottage isn't cramped at all and it's in lovely, peaceful surroundings with open aspect onto a wildlife pond where we watched so many different types of birds. It's equipped with everything you could possibly need and more (even a pack of cards) and all in all we had a very relaxing stay and were well placed to explore the Suffolk countryside. Thanks to the labradoodles for adding to the welcome! We'll be back.

Not sure where to start, I mean the place was lovely and clean, seemed friendly when we arrived, owner has 2 dogs so was nice to see them play with ours, But 1. The bed(s) was suppose to be a double and one single, Turned out to be 2 singles. 2. The shower was horrific, dripped slowly our entire stay and barely fit for purpose. 3. The walls are so thin you can hear a mouse fart. Literally think I had about 15-20 hours sleep all week. 4. The garden is huge and leads outside, however the pond is not guarded off and had to keep the dog away, the property looks big in the picture, but that's actually 2 property's for rent, so your back sharing the back garden, one thin fence away from the other holiday makers, trying to enjoy there stay... 5. There is rules written down almost in every room which I didn't find very welcoming 6. And lastly, My dog decided to eat a little rose bush while we were not looking, Which we later apologised for and replaced, from a nearby garden nursery near Bungay, but I dropped my mum off and went to get shopping (which is half hour to the nearest Tesco) and the male owner came knocking and told my mum off about the flowers, which given the fact she just lost one of her sons last week, I thought was uncalled for, as i came back to her crying. Could have waited to speak to us all when we returned. (FYI local field we were told to walk the dog down, we were later told has ticks all in the grass and to check our dogs hair, Which I would have never walked her anywhere near that field had they said before hand) Anyway we decided to leave a day early as I'd had enough of that place. would rather go home and deal with the funeral arrangements. We were told on the way out "you are welcome back but not with your dog"....... So not sure if its really pet friendly. Thanks but we will not be returning for another stay.

Great small cottage.. Ideal for us octogenarians. The ducks with their 12 ducklings added to our enjoyment. We will return at a time when the local farmers are not firing off their bird scarers. The warm welcome we received was much appreciated.
