The owner of the house was very helpful.. As we arrived very late in the day the owner had left us breakfast in the house which I thought was very thoughtful and nice of her.
We met a problem with the key we didn’t get When we arrived, the owner wasn’t there and we didn’t know the key was in the letter box.. The house wasn’t furnished enough because we had only one saucepan and one pan (the second one sas too damaged to be used ) to do the cooking. No coffee machine.
I was delighted with the property ….. .great location ,safe and private
The ground floor accommodation and decoration was very grubby and dirty in places.. State of heaters was dreadful. Lack of helpful information.of all your properties we have stayed in this was by far the worst
Location of cottage was better than expected, cottage had everything we needed .... Location of cottage was better than expected, cottage had everything we needed and shops and town only a short drive away, the area was so quiet and peaceful
Cottage not too far from Killarney or Milltown .. Ring of Kerry which takes you out to the sea ,Inch Strand and torc Waterfall. Sneezing Waterville and so much more. Dongle to see Fungi and the lakes of Killarney. People lovely and friendly with the Craic aplenty. Stones throw to Faha Court. Pleasant setting within the country and plenty parking. 20 minutes from Kerry Aurport to boot.
All good but heating a bit temperamental.. Didn’t matter to us as it wasn’t that cold.
Proprietor is going to sort it.
Other than that a very comfortable wee Cottage with everything and more than you need.
Absolutely beautiful views to the rear of the mountains and great grass area to get the dog out.
Very nice welcome pack of all the essentials and a lot more than that was in the Cottage on our arrival.
A beautiful area and we had a brilliant time.
Recommend The Porterhouse in Killarney for food and traditional music.
The Bar at the country Cottages was very welcoming and the staff were lovely.
They weren’t doing food when we stayed but it was just changing over to a new catering company at the end of this month. Thanks Sean at the Faya Bar and your staff for the hospitality.
The Beaufort Bar in Beaufort also served lovely food.
Would definitely go back.
Whilst it was a beautiful location and the cottage was very comfortable and clean it was very cold on our arrival which was unfortunate as we had two small children and there was no hot water down stairs until the following day.. We were also asked by the lady who greeted us to be careful as the heating was old! Also the toilet seat was broken. However it has a lovely hot shower and the beds were very comfy. The owner had also left a range of foods for us which was a lovely touch and very welcoming.
I would definitely recommend this to others.
Wlan wood be good
There is a very nice bar on site but at the moment it does not provide restaurant facilities as shown.. However there are some very nice pubs/restaurants in Beaumont, a village approx 3 to 4 miles away.
Fab cottage, lovely location, lovely hosts, will recommend x
Killarney Country club is non existent and pub does not do food.. Shop listed as a few minutes walk away is closed.
The cottage was nice and the owner provided a nice welcome pack of bread, milk, juice and some other essentials as well as biscuits and a cake! The grounds around the cottages could do with some maintenance.
