The location is perfect, 2 minutes from the Beech. The cottage was very nice and hosts are very friendly. I would recommend staying in this house.

I can understand what the previous reviewer means by it being thrown together for the staycation market as the finishing isn't great. However it was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of storage and an airer to dry clothes as well as a rotary washing line in the garden. If I could I would have given 4.5. The location is very good and it's an easy walk to the beach. Our only real negative was lack of ventilation or a working extractor fan in the bathroom.

Everything about this property suggests it has been thrown together to cash in on the Staycation market, with little in the way of attention to detail: - decorating done to a poor standard - crockery cracked/chipped and glassware needed a good wash - spare room hadn't been dusted in a while - very little storage - still nowhere to hang clothes (even a couple of hangers on the back of a door would have helped) and nearly half the drawers already full of bedding etc. - privacy a problem at night with only a net curtain at the back. - still nowhere to hang clothes outside to dry The shower was good once it had been mended on our second day; Sykes struggled to contact the property-owner on the first night. Location handy for walking into town or to the beach. This could be a really nice property if a bit more thought was given to it but definitely not enough room for 4 adults and their belongings.
