Within the village, you will find the remains of the Benedictine Abbey, the Cerne Giant, the 180-foot figure of a naked man cut into the steep chalk downlands, three pubs, a tea room and a shop, making an ideal base for touring further afield. The surrounding area is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering great walks, as does the Dorset Jurassic Coast.
