Lovely cottage with fantastic sea views.. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Would love to revisit. Only quibble would be the high maintenance mixer tap shower which we couldn't get to go higher than about 4ft and bathroom taps which would be impossible for anyone with motor skill problems to turn on and off. But a fab cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I would hesitate to recommend Sykes Holidays in future as you robustly and wrongly disclaimed any liability to deal with the initial problems of holidays affected by corona virus.. Only when the Competition and Marketing laws were firmly restated by the authorities did your refusal to accept any responsibility reduce. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Previously we have booked happiiy with yourselves but your robust wrongheadedness in this matter disturbs me

Wow! We recently stayed at Keepers Cottage and it was absolutely amazing. The decor of the cottage is so fresh, stylish and cosy. The owner Karen is so lovely! She made our visit to Moelfre extra special. We can't thank her enough. The best thing about this cottage is the view! It is breathtaking. The village is lovely and I recommend visiting the local pub which has a great atmosphere. We also visited Catch 22 a 20 minute drive from Moelfre. The food is unbelievable. We will be definitely be returning! I wish we could live here.

This is our second visit to Keepers Cottage and still remains a beautiful, well equipped cottage with stunning views.. We personally stay in cottages which provide sea views and this is the best by far! The cottage is clean, comfy and everything you could need for a much needed holiday. The owner is lovely and very helpful too. We will be going again for a third visit at some point :)

Keepers cottage was superbly equipped for a warm, relaxing and enjoyable break.. It was very clean. It is very well situated close to all the village has to offer. The view is one that one could not tire of. We loved staying here and will definitely rebook in the future. Thankyou for a great holiday.

Perfect location and incredible views.. We had the most amazing time at keepers cottage. Everything was perfect and very comfortable. Lovely Christmas decorations, made our festive family getaway complete. We have just rebooked for next year!

Disappointed by lack of outside space.. Pictures showed field in front of the cottage, but no access was permitted. No welcome pack , as with previous Sykes cottages. Washing machine broken, no alternative , one clothes peg! Light broken in the bathroom. Toilet seat very loose. Not enough towels. Poor quality utensils in the kitchen. No basic items such as salt pepper, or sugar. Lovely village but no local shop. Narrow pavements not good for pushing a pram. Beach not suitable for small children. Car parking very tight for two cars. No direct access to the house so all the luggage had to be carried some distance. Stairs are very steep, so would be a problem for some people. A few less ornaments and a few toys would also make it more child friendly. We were expecting more having paid peek season prices. Beautiful area and lots to do, but the house needs fine tuning to upgrade to match Sykes standard.

No wi-fi or out-door playing area, which was a bit of a problem.. No hooks or place for outdoor clothes, shoes. Lack of sufficient products I would expect to be given for a stay in a cottage such as loo roll and hand soap. Welcome paperwork was brusque with a list of what 'not to do'- didn't feel very welcoming. View from cottage was lovely and on the coastal path. Village was very nice. Owner sorted out all issues that cropped up quickly and efficiently.

This is one of the nicest cottages we've ever stayed in.. Fabulous views, amazing location and beautifully clean. All the facilities you could need. The only addition I would make to cleaning equipment, brush and hoover and that's being very picky. A local shop, a lovely pub and Ann’s Pantry all.within walking distance. Over all 10 out of 10

We returned to Keepers Cottage having stayed 6 months ago and were not disappointed.. The weather in this micro-climate was excellent whilst the rest of UK suffered allowing walks on the Coastal Path every day direct from the cottage. The views from the cottage across Red Wharf Bay to the snow capped mountains of Snowdonia were brilliant. Local pub and restaurant still serve excellent food. We shall without doubt return.

Keepers Cottage is absolutely wonderful, it is tastefully furnished, well appointed and situated in a small village over looking the sea The views are spectacular, especially the sunrise each morning above the sea.. A real gem on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. We would not hesitate to rebook this superb cottage again.

Have just returned from a week in this property. Walk from parking space to cottage is along a path in front of 4 terraced cottages. Path needs traversing with care as made from slabs of slate that in places are very loose & uneven also unlit at night. Veiws are super. Cottage clean. Stairs to bedrooms are very steep (as are mine in my cottage) an extra rail fix to wall would help with stability in climbing & descending. Bedrooms very clean & inviting with crisp white linen & comfortable beds. Bathroom large but shower worked from mixer taps. Electric shower would have been better & more reliable. Lounge a bit stark with a lot of flippery, could have been made more homely & cosy with a rug between sofa's to keep feet warm as very cold floor. It would have been nice if fire had been working & not blocked with loose tin sheet which rattled & howled when wind blew. Fire would have supplimented oil heating which heated bedrooms well but left lounge cold. Kitchen good with lots of work tops, washing machine & dish washer. Could do with pans lids that fitted the odd assortment of pans. Needs supplying with sharp knives for cutting vegetables (but perhaps your not supposed to cook on holiday) Cutler odd shapes but usable as are dishes. Could also do with a supply of cling film & tin foil which all other cottages I've rented have had, also needs place mats for dining table which has glass (Plastic) top, had to use pot cloths to stop hot plates damaging surface. Moelfre itself is very pretty with lot's of walks, two pubs, a chippy & shop that sell's wonder fresh bread. Have enjoyed holiday thanks to the company of my daughter but will not be returning to this property. Not recomended in cold weather unless you don't mind staying in bedrooms but view out of front bedroom windows is wonderful so maybe that would be your best option.I'm sure in summer would be fine but house needs to be made more inviting but it's saving grace is very clean & wonderful views

This was our second visit to this cottage it remains the perfect place to visit. A fabulous cottage in a beautiful setting, we had a great time and it was so relaxing. Ideal for exploring the island and to see the practice/training launching of the new Moelfre lifeboat. Thanks to the owner for another lovely stay at your cottage and best wishes for the future.

Excellent service. Everything went smoothly. Good communication with owners prior to going. Cottage in a beautiful location with stunning view, would lve to wake to this view everyday! Very well thought out holiday let. Only thing I never found was an ironing board...not truly missed! The owners have not skimped on furnishings, or comforts. Set in a lovely village, good pub. Great walks, and a good base for exploring the rest of anglesey. The peace and quiet was wonderful.

December 2012
A lovely cottage which has been decorated & furnished very tastefully. Fantastic view ut to sea & walks from the doorstep. Comfortable and cosy cottage. Very steep stairs may be difficult for those less able. Cottage lacks coat hooks by the door for storage of out door wear. There was no hoover or access to a mop to clean the kitchen. The keys were stiff & difficult to use. Small court yard garden only. But we were generally very happy with overall holiday accomodation & location is spectacular.

April 2012
The cottage! It was clean, fresh, elegant white furniture, just perfect. The kitchen was so well-equipped, I could've baked cakes/muffins and treated it as my own - but obviously I was on holiday so was not cooking all the time. My 2.5 year old daughter loved all the teddys (in white outfits), so adorable, she had to sleep with all of them and loved her bunk bed room. The 2 main bedrooms and living room have wonderful sea views which are so beautiful to see when you first wake up in the morning, during the day and at sunset. Truly a fantastic cottage and location was perfect too.

Keepers Cottage was by far one of the best cottage's we have seen for years, and we are already look forward to go back comming year! We loved everything about the cottage from the modern decor to the cleanliness, the well equipped kitchen, no drafts in the house and a fantastic heating system, beeing holidaymakers out of season we appreciated this ;), the views over the sea and the village with its nice walks lunch-restaurants and a nice pub serving a good meal too. It is nice and easy to access main roads for sightseeing, or for a day in the loacal area, the coastal path is just 2 minuttes walk away. The service with renting, keacollection and chekking-in, and description on "how to do and fix" in the cottage was excellent! - we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back next year ***

The biggest draw for this property are the uninterrupted seaviews (birds, dolphins and porpoise). It is very convenient for joining the island's coastal footpath. The furniture is tasteful and the rooms sympathetically decorated. There is a small patio to the front (altho' the adjoining property has pedestrian access through it). Moelfre is a nice unspoilt village with a small harbour.
