We had the most incredible staycation week staying in Karadow; it is a perfect home for a comfortable, cosy yet modern break away, in the middle of stunning quiet Cornwall countryside, but only 10-15 minutes drive to absolutely stunning beaches and cute villages with cafes, pubs and restaurants. The hot tub is incredible, and was ready to use as soon as we arrived. Massive field of beautiful green grass for our dog to run around in and for us to play table tennis and kick a ball around. Immensely comfortable bed. So quiet and peaceful and serene, the perfect spot to get away from busy City life. We had the most warm welcome on our arrival, with a tour and explanation by Mike the host. A beautiful welcome package which included traditional scones, cream and jam - such a lovely touch! The highlight for us was the walk down to Al's Point nearby where we got engaged, it was absolutely perfect and so private.

We stayed in the smaller adjacent cottage, Skiber, for 10 nights and couldn't fault our time there. The property was immaculate, the beds very comfortable and all the facilities and equipment you'd expect and more were present. The hot tub was a godsend, although we would've liked to have had the opportunity to use it more, and the outdoor fenced area is perfect for young children to play safely in. The peninsula offers plenty to explore with some beautiful beaches and is well within reach of larger towns like Falmouth and Padstow, but without their crowds. Mike and Sarah were excellent hosts, always on hand to help, including with advice on what sights to visit locally. We definitely hope to return soon!

We wanted somewhere we could all switch off from home life, relax & enjoy some quality time together. We loved time in the hot tub, the kids seemed to chat for England in there, just perfect. The decor was beautiful, we enjoyed cooking here as we had everything we needed, just like home from home. The owners were so friendly, thoughtful & helpful. We had a cream tea waiting, my fave & left a bottle of bubbles for me to enjoy for my birthday. The walk & views surrounding the cottage are worth checking out. We would love to return one day. Thankyou for everything.

Our family booked for a pre christmas getaway at Karadow cottage and we would like to say a big thankyou to Mike and Sara! Upon arrival we were greeted with and a cream tea which was a lovely surprise and a welcome touch. Mike and Sara were very attentive, friendly and made us feel very much at home. The cottage itself was of the highest quality we have ever experienced in all of the previous holiday rentals we have used. Every bedroom was spacious and spotless and the bathrooms were super modern-again, modified to the highest standards. The hot tub is a really good addition and was also kept ready for our use at any time. We would highly recommend, and have been to all of our family and friends a stay at Karadow and we hope to return in the not so distant future. Thanks again to Mike and Sara, you made our stay very memorable.

Just had a fantastic week here and what a cottage, it has the wow factor. After a day out and about you come back to a lovely soak in the hot tub. The cottage is done to such a high standard you never want to leave. Sara and Mike had put blood sweat and tears into the cottage and should be so proud of what there have done. They are such a lovely couple and nothing is too much for them. Thankyou for making our holiday special. We will be back 1 day.

We spent a week in this cottage and found that it offered everything that both the adults and the children needed. It’s well furnished, and the kitchen seemed to have every possible piece of equipment. Beds were comfortable and showers were excellent. The private hot tub was well-used by all of us and adds a real touch of luxury. There’s masses of outdoor space for kids to run and play in, as well as local walks that provide some stunning views of the estuary. In addition to all of that, the owners (Mike and Sarah) are consistently helpful and responsive. Karadow is thoroughly recommended if you are planning to visit the Roseland peninsula!

We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying in Karadow, which is a beautifully converted barn.. It has a very well equipped kitchen, everything is brand new, the longe and bedrooms are bright, modern and airy. The bathrooms have excellent showers, bonus having a w/c and shower room downstairs. This doubled as a utilility room, with washing machine. The welcome tray of cream tea, with strawberries, Cornish biscuits, proper creamy local milk as well as tea, coffee etc. There was also dog treats, a couple of sachets of dog food, poo bags and 2 bowls, much appreciated. The owners love dogs and have a friendly little Terrier. The gardens are well kept and nicely planted, the front garden was a paved enclosed area with a picnic table, the back garden, also enclosed, had rattan furniture, sun lounger and badminton rackets etc.Beyond the garden was a massive play area/ dog walking area. It had Table tennis, a football area and benches and more picnic tables. There are lovely walks in 8 acres of grounds including down to the sea. There was an abundance of birds and even saw a Roe Deer one evening Our Hosts Michael and Sarah were charming and knowledgeable about the area.Even offering to drive us to the local pub and back. The Roseland Pennisular is a beautiful area to explore, with St.Mawes and Falmouth only a few miles away. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Karadow, thankyou Micheal and Sarah.
