This cottage is an absolute gem.. We stayed as a family of 5 adults and the property still felt spacious. Well designed and very well stocked (e.g cafetière for fresh coffee) with excellent facilities (e.g. instantly hot water from the taps). The cottage was thoroughly clean with clear attention to COVID-19 guidance and Monyash is a great base for exploring the Peak District. We’d love to return soon!

Lovely cottage, well equipped.. Perfect for our family of 5. Log burner in the lounge - which we didn’t expect to need in August, but was great for warming up after getting soaked a couple of times whilst out exploring the area. Great location with the Lathkill Dale walk on the doorstep. Garden backs onto beautiful countryside, with cowes grazing just behind the garden wall. Great food in the Bulls Head pub, only a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Lovely cosy cottage in a great village .. Really warm, great when coming back from long walks in the cold . Comfy beds, sofas and lots of equipment in the kitchen all spotlessly clean. We will definitely return

Jasmine Cottage was a fantastic base for our family holiday.. It was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a week away. There was plenty of hot water and the property was nice and warm during a rather chilly week. The location was excellent with walks from the door and many places of interest just a short drive away. The village also had a great park which went down very well with our little ones.

A lovely three bed cottage in easy walking distance of the local village pub and views over the Peak District's rolling hills.. For a February half term break the weather was so nice we even got to use the garden furniture for al fresco dining in the sunshine. A cosy, well furnished cottage for a base to explore the surrounding Peak District.

Jasmine cottage is warm cosy and comfortable.. The facilities are more than adequate for a holiday home and the furnishings are of a high standard. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. There are walks from the door and after a cold day in the dales it was lovely to come home to a nice warm cottage. It was a first visit to Jasmine cottage but, one I hope repeat.

We loved our stay at Jasmine Cottage, it's in a great location in Monyash, which is a beautiful little village, and not far to everywhere we wanted to go for some great walks, Lathkill Dale is also on the doorstep, which is stunning.. It's a very well equipped cosy cottage, one of the best we've stayed in, the milk/tea/coffee were very much appreciated on arrival too after a 5 hour drive! It was extremely clean and we hope to stay there again.

We had a very nice holiday at Jasmine cottage.. The location is fantastic and the cottage itself is very clean and well kept. Lovely views from the windows, great local pub, great local walks. Close to Chatsworth, Bakewell and Buxton. We even visited Alton towers and Mam Tor which are a little further but very easy to drive to. We had two cars and was easy to get parked here, so no need to worry about the lack of private parking. Overall it was a very comfortable base for a great holiday in this amazing place. Not to complain, but a couple of things to mention. The table situation was mentioned in the listing, but pulling it out does mean that the doors to garden/living room had to be shut to accommodate my party. So couldn't enjoy the lovely views while you have dinner. A conservatory would make this property superb. Think if you were 4 people or a family with 2/3 small children it would not have been so squashed, but we were 4 adults (ages 11-81) and it was a little cramped. The cleaning lady was there on the dot at 10am just as we were leaving. Think a half hour after would have been more sympathetic. Also, no firelighters. We had to buy some and think this is something I have come to expect from a property with log burner. The neighbors passed through the garden a couple of times which felt not as private as I would have liked. Also, the table and chairs outside are quite difficult for frail hands to move across the stones and we had an elderly person in our party who would have liked to sit outside a bit more. Aside from these things, this is a very nice cottage that certainly deserves its place on Sykes.

Great location in the Peak District.. Beautiful walk starting 500m from the cottage. Very clean and well maintained cottage. We also loved to end our day sitting in the garden. Very pragmatic to be able to park just in front of the cottage. Our son loved the sound of the sheep when going to bed. Really enjoyed our stay

I would definitely recommend this cottage.. It was within a small village with easy parking. An easy base for exploring the peak district for walking. The cottage itself was warm and inviting with good facilities. Lovely for an Autumn holiday.
