The cottage was excellent, well equipped, comfortable and clean and with some nice extra touches from the owners.. Location was good with Barnstaple and coastal resorts within easy reach. We had a great week.

This is a great holiday home with everything you are likely to want.. It was very clean and gave us confidence in this difficult time. Donna and Rus are great hosts and we thoroughly recommend staying here.

Jarrah provided us with a relaxing, comfortable and beautifully clean accommodation.. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Donna, the owner was on hand to help us settle in and available for any queries but she was not intrusive. Although next to the owners home, we were not overlooked. Jarrah has lovely private gardens and feels light and spacious.
Jarrah is in a good position to explore North Devon and Exmoor.
We absolutely love this cottage, and visit every year. It is clean, comfy and in a beautiful setting! Donna is wonderfully friendly but also respects privacy! We stayed as a family, my parents, my partner, myself any our 3 year old daughter - the cottage was a perfect place base for our daily adventures. Can't wait for next time! We have stayed in sunshine and rain, there is so much to do in North Devon.
Greeted by our host Donna, with a very warm friendly welcome. Beautiful cottage, in a quiet location, but close to all attractions. The cottage is well maintained, very clean and tidy and has everything you require for your stay. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. The views from the cottage are stunning and the horses in the field next door are very friendly. I would highley recommend this cottage to family and friends. My husband and I along with our 15 month old Granddaughter had a wonderful week at Jarrah. Thank you once again Donna and Russ.
After long days out, it was lovely to come back to this comfortable, cosy cottage.. We took our 15 month old Granddaughter with us and there was plenty of room for her to play both inside and outside the cottage.
Lovely cottage with a great garden overlooking fields.. Easy access by car to the beautiful beaches of North Devon and the Tarka trail.
The owner, Donna, met us on arrival and offered to help us in with our cases.. Donna went through all we need to know about the property and garden. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Would come again.
Four of us stayed for 5 days whilst working nearby. The property is very nicely kept and was a fantastic base for us. Very quiet and peaceful, extensive beautiful gardens and surrounded by a field overlooking a Forrest. Although we were working nightshift we still had a little time to appreciate the relaxing environment, take advantage of the BBQ facilities and enjoy the freedom of the large gardens. The owners who live in the property next door were very welcoming upon arrival whilst respecting our privacy during our stay. I would thoroughly recommend this property as a base whilst away on business or as a holiday home vacation. You will not be disappointed. Thankyou
Lovely location - beautiful view of the horses.. Very clean cottage. all good. Would have liked a baby seat or have been made aware there wasn't one, but apart from that all good. Thanks for a great stay.
The cottage was a perfect retreat the owners are charming and helpful.. WE WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY THERE.
We stayed here for a week in April with 3 young (1-7) kids and had a great time. Location is brilliant for taking in the best of North Devon's attractions, whatever the weather. Onsite woodland and wildlife, fantastic beaches and theme parks within 15 mins. Cottage and gardens are lovely with lots of windows to make the most of the fantastic woodland and paddock views. The owner was very helpful and made us feel truly at home. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Great welcome, lovely cottage - absolutely pristine, everything you need for a great break in North Devon.. 4 of us (3 generations) stayed for a few days in October. Downstairs bedroom fine for Grandma (a couple of steps down to bedroom/bathroom, but shallow, and easily negotiated). Would definitely return, and cannot recommend highly enough
Very nice cottage, very spacious, clean and comfortable.. Nice and tranquil for a quiet peaceful break. Great location for sight seeing in Devon.
This was a beautiful and roomy cottage, Donna and Russ the owners were marvelous Hosts.. The views, facilities, garden were lovely. The kitchen was great with a baby we had to really prepare and eat in most nights the kitchen was certainly adequate. The roomy conservatory with views across the meadow to the woods, watching the deer and horses was a lovely place to eat, drink wine or just chill out. The beds were comfy, all in all it was a lovely place to spend a week we will definitely be returning.
Lovely cottage just like a home from home holiday was easy to book and skyes was always ready to help out if needed x
Property well maintained and provision of local information very useful.. A good base to explore North Devon and beyond. Property detail was accurate
A lovely place to stay, the owners are very welcoming and helpful.. The property is spotlessly clean and is like home from home
Great location.. Very cozy and clean cottage with beautiful secret garden and all facilities to have rest inside and outside. Hosting family is very friendly and hospitable. We travelled with our 1 year baby, so she was happy to be there as house is pretty baby safe, garden is very entertaining and horses, sheeps, ducks makes a little zoo to her. Just 15-20 minutes drive to surfing (Staunton sand). We would love to stay in this cottage again.
We could not fault the property, perfect for family of 5.. Garden also very well kept and bonus for the children to play in. Owners next door and very helpful and friendly. Plenty to do within short drive although need to book in advance to eat in local pubs during busy periods. We would recommend to anyone looking for a well appointed, comfortable, clean cottage well located for exploring North Devon.
Donna and her husband were extremely helpful and welcoming.. The gardens and outdoor furniture were an added bonus.
