Ivy Cottage is a stone-built cottage near the town of Malvern in Worcestershire. It has a super king size bedroom and a bathroom, it can sleep two people. Also inside there is a kitchen with dining furniture, a utility and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is off road parking for one car and an enclosed garden with a lawn area and a gravel patio with furniture. Ivy Cottage is a charming village in a wonderfully rural location.

Accomodation Details
One super king-size double bedroom. Bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast table and larger folding table for dining in the sitting room if required. Sitting room with woodburning stove. Utility/drying room. External lockable wood/bike store.

Area
The town of Malvern has many outdoor activities including 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways. It also has many individual shops, cafes, art galleries and restaurants. The town holds antiques fairs, farmers’ markets, many auctions throughout the year, and the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. The Forest of Dean is only 30 miles away, and the cathedral city of Worcester is a 20 minute drive away. Nearest towns include Ledbury, which is just 7 miles away.

Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

We loved Ivy Cottage and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is beautifully renovated to such a high standard, the garden is lovely with a gorgeous view across the common. Garden is pretty and secure and perfect for the dog with a little seating area in the sun. There are lovely walks from the door across the common to the hills. Rachele had thought of everything, with a thoughtful welcome pack, kitchen is well equipped, the lounge is so cosy with cute little touches everywhere. There is a little utility and foyer for coat and boots. Cottage is perfectly located for access to local towns with loads of walks and places to visit. We recommend the Farmers Arms in Ledbury and The Bluebell in Malvern for dog friendly pubs and lovely food. We were at Ivy Cottage for 4 nights and didnt want to leave! We can't wait to book again, thanks Rachele.

We were overwhelmed by the loveliness of Ivy Cottage. Beautifully renovated one bed-roomed cottage with a cosy lounge and lovely little kitchen.The owner, Rachele, had thought of everything. The cottage is self catering so we had brought some supplies of food with us but on arrival found we had a lovely welcome pack and milk and butter which was a lovely touch for people arriving without supplies initially. Even our dog had biscuits and bowls provided. Lawned secure gardens, with outside lighting. We felt very snug, safe and felt at home straight away. We stayed over Christmas but the weather was kind to us so unfortunately we didn't need to light the log burner! The cottage is on Gloucester road but it wasn't, in our experience, a busy road but just to be aware when pulling out onto the road to take care ,as there is a bit of a blind spot. We would highly recommend this cottage although we'd like to keep it a secret just for us. 10 out of 10 Rachele and in the words of Arnie 'we'll be back'.

Ivy Cottage is the perfect place escape to. It's a stunning cottage that had been beautifully and lovingly restored and has everything you could possibly need, making it a home away from home. Ivy is in a great location, not just because of the surrounding countryside but because it's close to all the amenities, however it's far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet. A list of the local supermarkets etc are provided in the visitors guide, including the contact details for the local doctors surgery, dentist or vets if you require them. The nearest town, Ledbury, is a short drive away through the Malvern Hills, passing through Eastnor and it's castle, and the fields on the other side of the road are lovely to walk around - but watch out for the sheep! The bench at the top of the hill is a very pretty place to sit and watch the world go by, with views of Ivy Cottage and the surrounding farmland. As for the host - she was faultless. She kept us informed and up-to-date with everything. She has created a wonderful holiday cottage and made our stay unforgettable. The little touches made it even more special. My boyfriend and I felt very lucky to have been the first guests to stay at Ivy. We have made many memories there and have fallen in love with it. It was very hard to leave! But we will definitely be returning soon. We're sure you'll love Ivy Cottage as much as we do.
