Italia Lucca, Tuscany

Isolated, scenic location. Quick to get to Lucca, Pisa. Getting there was a bit adventurous the first time. The house was completely covered with insect screens in front of the windows, which was also necessary. I recommend taking mosquito repellent with you, I don't know if that's always necessary. It had rained a lot when we arrived. The host was super nice and helpful. Everything was in the house except for a German coffee machine, which is often the case in Italy, we had our own (from experience). Very nice outdoor area, terrace, gazebo, etc. The central location in Tuscany was great

Really great, wonderfully quiet and secluded accommodation, well equipped, lots of space, lots of open spaces right next to the house. You can walk directly to Lucca (7km) or Pisa (17km) and return by bus. Unfortunately 3 shortcomings: Difficult car access (narrow and winding), uncomfortable beds (slept badly), no internet (no DSL/WLAN and no LTE/4G network on the premises)

Very nice landlord, great location, very good opportunities for hiking and cycling (MTB and racing bike), not far from the sea.

Very simply furnished, but functional. Spacious terrace with sunbeds, seats and tables. Beautiful view. Close to several places of interest, including Pisa, Florence, natural parks and beaches. Important to know: there is no WiFi and no 3g/4g. Sometimes no telephone connection at all!
