Casa di Nonno Cividale, Friuli-Venezia Giulia

The house is more than adequate for 4 people. There is nothing missing from the furnishings. The best thing for us: absolute peace and quiet! The chirping of birds woke us up in the morning. Cividale is a charming little town, and you can be in the middle of it all in 20 minutes on foot. The landlord is also very friendly and very keen to fulfill all of our wishes. We mainly went out by bike, there are lots of great options. Don't miss: ciclovia alpe Adria.

We found the rooms, especially the bathrooms, to be spacious and we really liked the furnishings in a mix of modern and country style, also with beautiful floors. You can hear the birds chirping, but it's a quick walk into the lively center of Cividale.

The accomodation itself was clean, ordered, had a luxurious feel to it, and was really comfortable for 5 persons. Unfortunately we had to prolong our stay multiple times due to delay of a renovation, and the host was exceptionally flexible and understanding all the time. I feel like the price of the accomodation is really affordable compared to what you get. Only downside might be the countryside setting, which might be a benefit depending on your goals :)
