Set on a former olive oil mill estate dating back to 1878, this restored farmhouse in Puglia couldn't be more charming if it tried. While the home's vaulted ceilings and interiors are impressive, there are a few compromises to make. There's no swimming pool, but a communal rooftop terrace complete with a shared hot tub more than makes up for that. You'll also need a car as there's not much within walking distance. However, the whitewashed town of Ostuni and the Adriatic coast are less than half an hour's drive away, and the authentic trattorias of Cisternino are just a few kilometres away.
Home truths: *Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. On-site parking is available.
*You'll have access to the rooftop terrace and hot tub here. They're shared with the building's other residents. Please note that the hot tub is closed seasonally from October to April.
*The twin bedroom has limited floor space, but it has everything you need for a restful night’s sleep.
*Although the kitchen is well-equipped, food preparation space is tight, and there's no dishwasher. However, with the authentic trattorias of Cisternino just a few kilometres away, we suspect you’ll be eating out a lot.
*If cosy film nights are for you, this home might not be the best option as sofa space is limited.
