Hour Cottage is a welcoming semi-detached cottage situated in the Cotswolds town of Stow-on-the-Wold. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one double, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area, gas fire and a woodburning stove. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and a patio with furniture and barbecue. Hour Cottage is an ideal holiday home for a couple of small group with plenty to see and do in the area.

Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and gas fire. Garden room with woodburning stove.

The Cotswolds town of Stow-on-the-Wold offers a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs, a monthly Farmer's market, antique shops, tearooms, traditional pubs, award-winning restaurants and a cricket museum. Many walks and cycle rides can be enjoyed from the centre of Stow, plus nearby are a number of quintessential English villages.

Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Hour cottage at Stow On The Wold is very convenient for the shops, pubs and restaurant as it is only about a four minute walk away.. Stow On The Wold is a very interesting and pretty market town. The people serving the eating places and shops are very polite and friendly. We would definitely stay in Hour Cottage again as it exceeded our expectations.

There is some what looked like renovation work going on nearby but didn't affect us.. They didn't work for 3 out of the 4 days we stayed and noise was minimal. Can't wait to stay again. Loved it.

Lovely cottage.. Very well equipped kitchen and beds very comfortable. Loved the electric fire so easy to use. A heated towel rail would have been lovely but we were not there long enough to worry too much about that

Its a perfect holiday spot; tucked away with easy access parking outside yet right in the heart of the town.. Its not a quirky period cottage with century old features, but a really well appointed, comfortable and exceptionally clean modern house. We liked the location- including the church tower clock chime that adds to the bygone feel for a holiday. Compared to other cottages we have stayed it in the area, very good value.

Little things such as the dishwasher being very difficult to use proved correct.. Everything else was as described and more. Comfortable, warm, everything we needed. Central, close to,Stow centre but far enough away so that we didn’t hear any traffic noises.

Hour Cottage is a perfect location to have a holiday in the Cotswolds.. It is clean and cosy and the owners cannot do enough for you. The neighbours are helpful and friendly. Parking is right at the front and there's room to manoeuvre easily. Stow provides an excellent location, with shops, lots of pubs, many allies to wander round and friendly, helpful residents. That's why we stay at Hour Cottage twice a year.

Our booking was for 4 adults and an infant but on speaking to the owner it became apparent that no facilities were provided for an infant.. The owner was happy for us to take our own travel cot and high chair but it was a bit of a squeeze in the bedroom. The cottage itself is really nice and very central. I just don't think you should accept future bookings when an infant under 2 is included in the party.

Lovely little cottage.. Comfortable in a location where everything is easy to reach. Also nearby is a Tesco and an M&S shop. Stow on Wold has nice shops and Places to eat all within easy walking distance. Stow is also surrounded by beautiful villages and many National Trust Houses.

A beautiful cottage only a short walking distance into Stow. The cottage is well appointed, well decorated and very comfortable. From the time I spoke to the owner about key collection details, his directions to the cottage was spot on, it has off road parking, and has everything you need in the cottage. It's comfortable and cosy but at the same time it's spacious and in a quiet area. Would certainly come again x

Superb location in a quiet close just off the main road into town and only minutes to the shops, restaurants and pubs.. So you dont have to worry about parking or getting stuck in traffic. Very cosy house with all the facilities you would need. Lovely gas stove and wood burner to keep you warm on those chilly evenings. Very clean and well kept. Would definitely book again. Highly recommended as a great base for exploring the Cotswolds.

In our opinion the main strength of this cottage is its location.. It is very easy to get to several places of interest with ease and with little mileage. M & S Simply Food together with a forecourt garage,just around the corner, was very convenient.

Perfect stay in beautiful Hour Cottage for our first family holiday with our young baby.. So well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lovely quiet location (although off a busy road, the courtyard outside the cottage makes it feel so private and great for parking ) and just a short 5min walk to centre of beautiful Stow. The Cottage was spotlessly clean & check in and thorough instructions for all the appliances made our stay a breeze. We absolutely loved it & would love to stay again. Thank you

A very comfortable and well appointed cottage, very close to local amenities which meant one did not have to drive for everyday items.. Local public houses gave a good choice of meals and a very local M & S Store supplied our daily papers etc. only a few minutes walk away. Despite a heavy fall of snow during our stay we were able to relax and enjoy the cottage and its surroundings. Good to be able to park directly outside. Most certainly a cottage to consider again in the future.
