Just home after a brilliant week in Home Farm. The house is ticked away down a country lane. Camile village short drive that has everything you need. Lovely and spacious 3 bed house with a hidden room with 2 extra beds. Can't fault home farm at all. So peaceful and well catered for. Short drive to dunbrody abbey and the ferry at Ballyhack over to Waterford, beautiful views. I would definitely recommend Home farm for a nice relaxing holiday.

Lovely cottage and very spacious. There are 2 double rooms, one is massive and a 3rd room with 4 single beds. We stayed here for a week. We’d a small dog with us who befriended the sheepdog on the farm next door.
House was clean. Beds cosy and water hot. There’s a wood burner in one room and an open fire in the other. We made use of both on separate occasions (Irish summer!). The outside table and chairs were great for the sunny evenings.
There’s no WiFi, v little phone coverage which was ideal. Total switch off.
Campile is a 5 minute drive and there’s a londis at one end and centra at the other. They have everything you’ll need.
Walked kids down the lane to see the horses and cows. You’ll need a car to explore the area. We had days out each day and organised a dinner each evening in a new place.
Some suggestions for day trips;
Ferry from Ballyhack to passage east (3minute ride) and drive to Tramore for the amusements and beach.
Spend the day catching crabs in Kilmore Quay then release them to race. There’s even a friendly seal in the harbour. Walk the pier and go to the beach.
Hook lighthouse, Fethard-on-Sea, Loftus Hall. Tintern Abbey and walled gardens. Kids loved exploring in the forests. The Vine pub in Saltmills does great pizza and has outdoor tables and a playground.
Duncannon beach
Heritage park in Wexford.
We’d visit here again

We stayed at home farm at the end of august for a week & what a lovely place it is, it has everything you need for a peaceful relaxing stay. Tucked away down a country lane next to a working farm. The cottage was bright & airy, very comfortable. Very local to JFK park & Dunbrody abbey Whilst all the attractions of Wexford are only a short drive away. The owner was very friendly & only a phone call away should you need her
We were all sorry to leave but hope to return very soon

A lovely authentic Irish cottage, restored and extended to provide family accommodation in the countryside, away from main roads and safe for children and dogs.
We spent a week here, the cottage is very tastefully decorated with a large kitchen/diner, a large sitting room and sun room.
Upstairs is a big master bedroom with ensuite shower and dressing room.
A seperate double bedroom, and a family room with 4 single beds, this room is made into two rooms with a sliding door in between, and is a good hideout for children.
There is a large family bathroom with huge bath and feature glass tiled panel.
Also there is downstairs utility room with toilet, wood burning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and outside BBQ.
Near beaches are Duncannon and a lovely secluded beach Dollar Bay, was lovely for swimming
